If that’s the case then that’s a very quick recovery.

Pre Season in July / August should have him fully recovered.
Utterly pointless trying to rush someone back for meaningless games and even if he was there is no way he would be match fit for a possible Heineken Final.

What's the story with Lowe MI? Isn't his contract up at the end of the season?

With Fardy retiring and Munster continuing to build a small forest of African tall timber perhaps we should try and bring Thomas Ahern to the capital.

That's not a barrier to a move. I presume all contracts are still IRFU ones so a move is definitely possible, especially if the players wishes to move, for example, for "rugby reasons".

Hugo Keenan(25/Blackrock/UCD) - signed contract in 2019
Jimmy O'Brien(24/Newbridge/UCD) - signed contract in 2019

Some likely out of contract players we are waiting to hear updates on.
Going by this list we’re still waiting on news on COB, Deegan, Frawley and RK.

You would imagine RK will be straightforward enough but the other 3 are interesting particularly Deegan.

Also Silvestre and O Sullivan just finished their 3rd year in the academy and I’d say it’s likely they might be let go considering their game time this year.

Munster need Thomas Ahern more than we do as we have better second rows than Munster and a lot of depth too. We don’t need Thomas Ahern

Conor O’Briens chances of getting a new contract may be slim given his lack of game time this season and current injury situation. Hope that isn’t the case. Do you think he’s likely to get offered a contract?

Am confident Deegan will sign again. He wants to stay and look how few backrow players we have fit at the business end.

There is time yet for one more announcement before the weekend.
