Has a younger brother, Paul, who is a GAA/Rugby prospect too, played wexford minors this summer and involved with Leinster u18 clubs at the moment.
He's certainly far better where he is than playing for Wexford footballers!
Although that lovely charge down against England was textbook football muscle memory. His coaches in the Vols GAA club would've been happy with that!
By the way, we've had a lot of success with bring through ex Wexford underage footballer forwards in recent times...

They normally run that camp, or at least for the last 7/8 years they have, not sure on the excluding two schools (the two junior fimalists) bit but that could well be what they normally do too.

Thanks, good to see the likes of Dundalk, High School, CUS and St. Andrews there being represented even if its minus the two best sides in last year's junior Cup.

Michaels JCT team from this season have two players with the 18 schools side in Baird and Gunne.
Yeah it's standard to not have the two finalists not involved at this stage due to how the trials work. I was more alluding to that it's good to have smaller schools in there even though you can expect the squad to be trimmed down as well as having a load more to come in by the time the matches come around.

Odd, I thought Martin was still in school. He is certainly still under-18.

I see...both must have skipped TY. Martin isn't 18 until 2020.
Martin is almost a certainty to make the academy, it's just a matter of when.. could play irish 20s three years in a row. If he plays 20s this upcoming season..
