Olaf won the race so I'll use his thread.

Lovely draw for us - hopefully the treviso away match is towards the end of the pool so I can afford to go.

Cracking draw.

Lyon aren't a bad side and are gaining Bamba and Tuisova, but not at the level of some of the other Frenchies.

Saints are good with a solid pack and 9/10 but still very beatable.

Treviso are improving but we should be targeting 9/10 points realistically.

Would be good to get Treviso at home first up as they'll have as many coming back from the RWC as us.

The Munster group is hilarious. Only saving grace is Ospreys, but everyone will beat them most likely.

Cracking draw for us. Only possible way it could have been better is if we'd drawn Quins instead of Northampton. New team for us to play in Lyon and we haven't faced Benetton in this competition since 04/05.

Would be great if Munster, Racing and Ospreys could take enough points off Saracens to send them away from home for a qf.

I presume Saints will be the Christmas Aviva choice.

My Marseilles 2020 was a few minutes late so if the moderators want to remove it that would be ok.

Main thing is we have every chance of a home semi final with that group. Hopefully everyone is in good nick by the time the first few round of fixtures are played.

Not a great draw for the poor folk trying to sell that one out.

The other thread was started on the 26th of May. Is it a "slow bicycle race"?

Would any of them have been? At least the Saints fans travel.

True, but it'll probably be saints alright - don't see the others bringing any kind of significant numbers of travelling support. Not that the rugby actually matters to most of the attendees for the Christmas match, most of them think they're at the darts

To truly complete the almost perfect draw could we please get,

Lyon (h)
Benetton (a)
Northampton (a)
Northampton (h)

Great draw for Leinster, probably the easiest one yet. Brutal one for Munster; doable as runners up for Ulster and hard to say for Connacht.

Should be aiming for top seed from that draw.

I think you definitely want to get Lyon away later when they might be more likely to be out and playing a few espoirs.

Benetton first because we'll be equally hit with RWC. Lyon will be losing very few, probably only 3.
