Ed will certainly be very unlucky if he's overtaken by Jack now!Dave Cahill wrote:I'll have Brian and or Ed Byrne so

Connors, McCarthy and JOB having really good games.
Bent & Byrne carrying well too.
Tomane having another solid game.
Ferg will be lucky not to be banned for the season. Idiotic from him.

Mmmm that's interesitng, taking Jack Mc off.
On this form I'd have him benching for the final, particularly if Cronin is out.

Can we for feck sake take Deegan off please?
No need to be risking him out there.

I've heard people say that they've seen Jack around and has a limp, thought it was very obvious during the game and especially when he went off.wixfjord wrote:Mmmm that's interesitng, taking Jack Mc off.

Curious to see what happens Ferg, it's a bit ridiculous if he gets off because there's no other angles. Maybe the teams have more footage.

You were about to say he was having an excellent game no doubt instead of waiting for him to make his first mistake 46 minutes in to the game in order to have a pop.

Pity, he defence was brilliant up until that.
Is Noel gunning for Johnny Gray's record? He's been everywhere in defence and he hasn't just been making tackles, he's been looking for big hits!

How is that not a penalty for not releasing the tackled player.

My favourite Clancy moment was when he said "advantage............................................over" and Ulster lost the ball in the few seconds of the gap. Dreadful.

JOB, McCarthy, McGrath and Reid all did particularly well in that

Probbaly should've won that. Didn't do enough in the second half.
Some really encouraging performances from a few young guys though. Connors is incredibly fit, some engine on him.
JOB looks like a really good player too. Always dangerous.
Baird looks some prospect!
Sad if this is Reid's last game in blue, he was really good today.

Considering the weird team we had out at the end I thought we did really well once we went behind. Huge defensive effort before that too. Loved the confidence of Paterson to take that high ball on the sideline when he's not the biggest and was out of position.
Rotten luck for Daly yet again, really feel for him.

Some good performances from young players on both sides. Leinster were unlucky today, every bounce of the ball and 50-50 decision went Ulster's way. Good learning experience for all.

I should also say that I criticised Josh Murphy at half time but thought he was good after the break.
Re: Leinster @ Ulster, Sat 27 Apr 17:15 KO
A few minutes to go just outside the Ulster 22 Tomane gets caught by Cave, Tomane releases the ball and picks it back up as indicated by Clancy. Tomane can’t get away because the tackler is still holding on like ffs Clancy saw it how did he not give the penalty.
He was shite for both teams just that one he actually sort of called it but didn’t give it.
