42 tries and counting, same as Rob Kearney and most for a forward.
13 in 2018/19 alone (6 in the Heino), only Dr. Phil in 2005/06 with 15 has scored more in a season this century
16 tries in the Heino, same as Isa.
Scored tries in the.......
2012 Pro12 Final v Ospreys
2012 Heino Final v Ulster
2013 Challenge Cup Final v Stade
2016 Pro12 Final v Connacht
2018 Pro14 Final v Scarlets

Other notable tries include semi-final tries v Ulster (2016) and that marvelous team try v Munster in the 2019 semi.

Anyone remember the first try for Leinster scored against Montpellier away in 2011? Big one that.
More points than appearances!
Woven into this clubs fabric is Sean Cronin.
And he's only gone and signed a new contract, cool.
:green clap:
I'm fuqing delighted. We have a roster with serious potential in this position and a stalwart like Cronin will be important for the team and the development of two very different specimens in Dan and Ró
Nugget must be the most successful Munster born rugby player in history, right? 2 Heinos, 1 Challange Cup, 6 Pro14s and 3 Six Nations.
Maybe Reddan or Ross would come close.
Reddan has 3 Heinos, maybe the only munsterman who could say that.

Incredible career. Was playing for Ireland A when he couldn’t get a look in for Munster. Big performer for Connacht. Almost 200 apppearances in 10years for Leinster and over 70 international caps.

Thought Faz cut him harshly just because he wouldn’t be around for the RWC.

Ah he's nowhere near the player he was, not even making our 23 for big game like!

It’s 2 years after the RWC. He was briefly Ireland’s first choice hooker when Best retired but then dropped right out of the next squad. And it wasn’t that hooker suddenly got competitive with lots of great options.

Looks like Faz was dead right considering how his form has dipped and how good Kelleher & Herring have been.

Think it was Italy away in Rome that did for him. Dev wasn't playing and Roux was calling the line out. Not sure it was Nugget's fault that the line out malfunctioned but he got the blame. Prior to that he was better than Rory Best in my opinion.

I think Nugget scored his 43rd Try today for Leinster. Goes ahead of RobK into 6th place. Only Isa, DaveK, Hickie, Darcy and O'Driscoll ahead of him now.
For a Hooker, wow.

Even more impressive when you realise he didn't come through the academy but had a few seasons under his belt at Munster and Connacht first.

I wonder what the metrics for tries per cap are. Or tries per minute played, but appreciate that the data may not be there for that.

It's a freakishly good return. I remember watching him as a kid in the All Ireland final playing for Shannon and he scored 2 tries from his own half. I still think he could and should have had more Ireland starts (only 10). Been a massive asset for us over the years.
