Woah, huge call there. Is RK unfit or are we just going out to blow them away?
Harsh on Reid but probably the call I'd make too.
Big game needed from that backrow.

I'd like to see Fardy in there either at 6 or on the bench. Luke can play full game I am sure! Fardy would make a huge difference at ruck time

How dare the training photo prediction system fail us!curates_egg wrote:Unlike others, I am a big believer in the training photo system for predicting selection. That system has Fardy involved, which would mean Molony and JGP or Lowe missing out. Would be harsh, but I presume it's JGP.carlow man wrote:Any team news for tomorrow? Sexton prob out and lots of people saying fardy needs to start in back row. Someone will not be happy at not being in the 23? Ruddock or leavy?

I wonder might we see a late withdrawal of our captain...

Don't worry. It failed them too.curates_egg wrote:How dare the training photo prediction system fail us!curates_egg wrote:Unlike others, I am a big believer in the training photo system for predicting selection. So Ross can crosskick to Adam and it's raining tries?wixfjord wrote:I wonder might we see a late withdrawal of our captain...

What's the deal with Kearney? Wasn't mentioned in dispatches. Flu?

If Sexton does pull out or go off early, it'll be a huge test of our leadership on the field.

I know we forgot the glue to hang it up but "Proclamation, proclamation, ah yeah proclamation ..." [continues for entire calendar year 1916 then mercifully stops]johng wrote:If only we had a huge 2nd row who's great grandad fought in the GPO in 1916.........
This really shows up the choice we had to make between Fardy and JGP. Hope it works out ok.

Very happy with the backrow, playing a genuine 8 will make a huge difference. Exciting backline, though I'd prefer to start with JGP to inject pace from the outset. Defensively shakey though.....
Flash ahhhh ahhh, he'll save every one of us

Look we've only to hold on to win the HEC this season and then we're in the clear.QBer wrote:I know we forgot the glue to hang it up but "Proclamation, proclamation, ah yeah proclamation ..." The other positive is that Fardy, Lowe and JGP have been fit most of the time and as a result the selection conundrum has been accentuated.

"Rob picked up a knock in the game so didn't come through the week so that's why we made that change," Cullen said.
"Rory and Noel, a pretty close call last week so we make a change there. It's good to change things up slightly.
"With Rhys and Dan, Jack Conan was nursing a knock going into last week so he comes back into start.
"The four of those games have been very competitive so there's not much in the selections there.
"Rhys will offer good impact off the bench as well. We're blessed that we have the quality there.
"We discussed about potentially bringing other guys in as well to freshen things up but it's trying to get the balance.
"We're different to a lot of other teams as we've a challenge trying to build a bit of cohesion at various different stages.

Match Preview
Well it turned out to be a grind alright.
A determined performance from Bath combined with some wet and very windy playing conditions made for a tough assignment for Leinster last week. But though they were far from their best, Leinster found a way to win and they should be much better this week for the tough hit-out.

Anyone else think that Adam Byrne, Larmour and Lowe are the back 3 equivalent of knives at a gunfight?

In this weather... possibly. But if we win enough ball- as we should, that may not matter as much.johng wrote:Anyone else think that Adam Byrne, Larmour and Lowe are the back 3 equivalent of knives at a gunfight?
But I'm nervous...
