It's a DISGRACE how Leinster keep taking players from other provinces. The traffic has been going in one direction for too long. About time they gave some players to other teams.

All you guys talking about your favorite Strauss moment there. How about this? The dummy, the timing, the vision and the delivery. Absolutely gorgeous pass. He makes it look so easy to set Kearney free. If Furlong did this (and Furlong is a legend), he'd be on the Late Late Show.

2 things really stick out watching it.

1. I totally forgot about the Portuguese flanker assaulting Leo Cullen. It was funny but also ridiculous. Leo's face was cut to pieces at the end. Wtf was the dude thinking?

2. The tackle/collision that I'll never understand was Henke VDM on Bonnaire just before Fofana dropped the ball. Henke looked out of it. Flattened. I've no idea how on earth he (and someone else) stopped Bonnaire there. Even watching it now I think Bonnaire is about to score here.

His farm is somewhere between Birr and Portumna, can’t remember exactly where but it’s very likely it falls in north Tipperary.

He was captain of the Kilkenny SCT too.

Are Leinster going to announce who is contracted for next season or are we supposed to guess based on teamsheets when pre-season rolls around?

I'm not being funny but I reckon they'll be announced after we hear that Joey is leaving.

While the central contracts for Tadhg Furlong and Rob Kearney have already been announced, speaking to leinsterrugby.ie, Leinster Rugby Head Coach Leo Cullen confirmed that an additional 19 contracts have been signed as Leinster continue to build for the future.

“This is another significant announcement and a huge endorsement of the work being done at grassroots level by the domestic rugby team, the CROs and the CCROs on a daily basis across the 12 counties.

“Of the 21 contracts announced today 18 came through the Leinster Rugby system and played in clubs and schools around the province.

“It is also great to see four players promoted from the Academy in the last few months and they will all start next season in the Senior squad.

“Jordan Larmour has grabbed a lot of the headlines given his involvement with Ireland during the Six Nations and starting last weekend but Vakh Abdaladze, Josh Murphy and Caelan Doris have all made telling contributions for both Leinster ‘A’ and the Senior side in the Guinness PRO14 during the course of the season.

“I am delighted for them and indeed their families and congratulate them.”

Included in the list of 21 players are 12 Irish internationals with 280 caps between them.

Leinster Rugby – New Senior Contracts 2018/19:

1. Vakh Abdaladze, 2 Leinster Caps (LC), 1 Leinster Try (T)

Surprised Dooley stayed on but good news for us that he did.

I remember there being rumours of McCarthy leaving a year ago so happy that he's staying too. I know the foreigner rule helps his cause but I doubt he's played as much as he'd like and he needs games so was slightly worried about him going.

Happy for DK as well, things weren't looking great for him and I wouldn't have been surprised if we'd let him go.

Overall though it does look a slightly weaker squad then this year (assuming we don't sign anyone else).

I suppose they're depending on a few more gems shining in the Academy

I thought Charlie Rock would get a development deal being honest.
