If Carberry is going to backup 10 to Sexton he needs to play there a bit as fun as it is to see him tearing it up at 15. Has he had a game there since his injury?

Re: Ospreys v Leinster Sat 3pm - Live on Sky
Joey needs to get as much top class full-back experience as possible. Ideally this should be with players he's likely to be selected with.
Re: Ospreys v Leinster Sat 3pm - Live on Sky
Agree on Joey needing to continue at 15 as to depart now from the two playmaker scenario that has been enacted for all recent games doesn't seem to add up with the liklelihood that JC at 15 and JS at 10 will be the strategy again for Clermont.

Re: Ospreys v Leinster Sat 3pm - Live on Sky
weird team.
Re: Ospreys v Leinster Sat 3pm - Live on Sky
Who's our replacement scrum half?
Re: Ospreys v Leinster Sat 3pm - Live on Sky
Strong side. Kirchner at 13 and ROL on the wing is a strange one. Wonder are they looking at him there for Clermont? (ROL I mean). A lot of beef in that pack. Again, I wonder are they giving Mick Kearney a chance to stake a claim for bench spot.
Luke McGrath rested? Hopefully.

Stronger team than I was fearing TBH.
You know I'm going to lose,
And gambling's for fools,
But that's the way I like it baby, I don't want to live FOREVER!

Re: Ospreys v Leinster Sat 3pm - Live on Sky
Strong Os side. This will be tough.
I'd fancy our pack against theirs, but they're much stronger at 9/10.
Re: Ospreys v Leinster Sat 3pm - Live on Sky
If I were Jack McGrath, I'd be fancying a cut off Mujati, particularly with Ruddock and Toner/Kearney behind me.
Also, I reckon we can make a good bit of hay from targeting Fonotia/Giles/Davies defensively. First two in particular are dodgy.

Nor do I. The one thing they could do though is make use of quick ball if our pack is on top. Some serious breaking threat between them.simonokeeffe wrote:thats hopefully the explanation or a longer term viewwixfjord wrote:Strong side. Kirchner at 13 and ROL on the wing is a ... L I mean). Surprised at the inclusion of Furlong, Toner and Henshaw. Is Reid injured?
Ruddock's tackle stats consistently too low for me to be taken seriously as a Six Nations blindside..... Ruddock's defensive stats don't stack up. - All Blacks Nil, Jan 15th, 2014

Need to target their front five, so happy with the selection of the pack. A little concerned at scrum-half. Gibson-Park has been fairly hit and miss when he's started games.
Look out Itchy, he's Irish

mcgrath is being rested.
be interested to see how mccarthy gets on, if he gets on.
