Any reasons why? He got unfairly shafted by Tigers and hope he hasn't been again

No idea sorry. Doesn't seem that he was shafted from the headline.

From reading the article in La Depeche, it would seem like they signed him to use him as a 10, but didn’t feel like he was good enough, so moved him to centre.

Presumably he wasn’t an improvement on any of their centres either so got the chop, probably for salary cap reasons.

I heard a couple of times over the years that he wasn't the easiest lad to gel with in a team environment.

They've lost every game he played over a season and a half. He's fallen down the depth chart and playing mostly away games and not that often. He might want out.

That’s an insane loss ratio In fairness, Agen lost every single game they played last season, so not a completely fair reflection of Reid’s individual contribution.

D'arce needs to write another column about him being the best passer in Ireland . . .

He's over 30 so that might be it for him. Hope it's not but professional sport can be cruel.

Some story. Thanks for posting Desperado. Good luck to Zane with his latest venture. Fantastic to see him trying to give something back and help less well-off kids in his home community. It's heart-warming.

IMO, one of his weaknesses was pace, & reading of game, to get to breakdowns. Haven't seen enough of him recently to know whether this has improved but good luck to him with new Contract

Unlucky timing was probably a big part of it.

Delighted to read that he got the contract, speaking to a family friend in 2019 she indicated that he felt he had missed his chance and was probably going to pack it in. I dare say kudos to 'he who shall not be namedifora' for making sure he wasn't lost from the system.
