Munster's Dave Ryan on the bench.

That is the red haired "timid" welsh ref?

Keep Leonard on a string.... Win the game. Be much happier if we had the Bossman for that job.

I've been surprised at the amount of times there was an opening in a depleted Leinster team and he never got the nod, as at AIL level he stands out massively as an attacking player. I really, really hope he has a stormer, as I feel like one of the few who see's a great player in him (Shane Williams-esq), I might be wrong about him, but I think whether he plays senior rugby for us next season or heads over to England, he'll make a big impact wherever he plays.

Decent looking team al round, very strong pack, looking forward to seeing Jordi back in action and how Furlong goes in the scrum too.

Slight disappointment seeing Madigan on the bench, but can't say I disagree.

I hope Luke McGrath gets a decent run out off the bench too.
Against Moseley recently SCM wasn't particularly impressive for the Leinster As. Admittedly conditions were awaful but with Sam's history of injuries he needs to take any chances that come his way if he wants to get a senior contract for next season. He seems to have overtaken Andy Boyle though in recent times in the selection queue.
Rugby is a good occasion for keeping thirty bullies far from the centre of the city.

Haven't seen this week's Italian team, but last weeks one featured

L Sarto (Zebre)
M Bergamasco (Zebre)
Q Geldenhuys (Zebre),
M Bortolami (Zebre)
D Giazzon (Zebre)
L Orquera (Zebre),
T Iannone (Zebre).
Seriously? I was trying to pick a Zebre player as my Italian filler for Fantasy rugby and could only find Orquera and Sarto.

It's great to see I have so many options now.

I'm also a lot less concerned about a potential ambush.

Again misquoted and misinterpreted and probably misunderstood.
Thicken that skin.

Is this game on TV?

Looking forward to seeing SCM in action.

It was not on here and I was not even remotely upset. Did it look like I was? I rarely get upset by anything on here.

I just thought it would be a wheeze to use the forum to make the point as it was public place for a private joke.

Didn't realise it would upset your appletart

Match Preview

And we're back!

Leinster return to action in Italy this Sunday, after three weeks off. As with their last visit to Italy in November, this game will be massively overshadowed by international action. That time Leinster were in Treviso quietly winning while Ireland lost heart-breakingly to New Zealand. At least this time the games aren't directly clashing with Ireland playing Wales on Saturday afternoon.

I see Andrew Boyle with the Irish camp.

Not sure if he was always out of contention or just getting a taste of the camp running opposition.

Its usual that the local province provides 'A'/Academy players as opposition in training - if he was in contention for Sunday he wouldn't have been at it

I figured that alright.

The last A game I felt Boyle showed more than SCM and Hudosn more than both.

Have I missed something with Madigan and an injury - only on the bench for Zebre seems to say returning from a knock? or has he just pissed off MoC?

I'd imagine he's only on the bench because he won't have trained much with the team recently. He would've been in the Ireland camp up til midweek
