Unless I'm much mistaken (and I usually am) its an official Leinster academy training shirt. In fact if you could see the badge closely I think it actually says Leinster (big letters) and Academy (small letters) below it.

Don't know anything about next season's jersey per se but was told at the Rabo Final that anyone who likes this year's European/Third jersey will be delighted when they see it!!

Yeah, it looks really good but I've never seen it on sale anywhere. Players only probably. Makes sense I suppose, considering its Academy specific.

It has the old style Canterbury collar and round neck. Current canterbury shirts have the scooped u-neck
