Never has a win in Mordor been so dissatisfying.
Noel Reid and James Rodriguez were separated at birth.

Going to turn off the stream now because RTE makes me angry. Great night for Leinster (Result wise). POC surely cited regardless of intent.

If I've listened to the media correctly over the years, Munster are the greatest team ever since a docker and a doctor invented rugby in Limerick in 2002. Yet we went down there in the lashing rain and slugged out a win against them in a pretty intense derby. I'll take the four points happily, and let Jo work on them the next couple of weeks.
Caveats apply as it is entirely possible that the information contained in the above post is either an attempt at a wind-up, an attempt at a joke or just plain wrong.

POC shoild be cited but doubt he will.

D Kearney may have a case to answer though. He did headbutt POC's right boot

It was clearly Kearns fault his head should not have been in the way of the ball and he shouldnt have landed the way he did after he caught the ball.

RTE are an embarrasement.

Lets not loose the head about POC. He looked pretty contrite and will be punished.

Don't think anyone is loosing the head (poor choice of words btw) just saying it was reckless/dangerous play.

Delighted we won. Amazing commitment. Appealing rugby though. We are unrecognisable. I don't know who this team is anymore.

Happy enough with that win, definitely a lot to work on over the next few weeks though. O'Connell should definitely be cited after that kick, I'll agree it was accidental but VERY dangerous and deserves a ban

It's a derby game in bad conditions, we lost our 12 early on and had to readjust as a result. I don't think you can read too much into the performance aside from the result and that key players fronted up when it mattered.

O'Connell may not have meant it but he still did it.
A tip tackle can be due to clumsiness and it's a straight red. He'll be cited alright.

Considering Kearney wasn't tackled/no ruck was formed, could this be seen as tackling with the foot?
Tbh, it really pisses me off to see the agricultural hoof thrown in rucks, it's negative play, like the choke tackle. Then again I'm ok with raking. odd.

On the way back to Dublin - glanced through this thread. Fantastic win. Some of the posters on this match thread are far too critical of the players on the team they SUPPORT. The conditions were dreadful. Might not have been clear from your sofas.

It begs the question is this Leinster sans Johnny?

Karney at fault. He placed his head on the ground and confused poor POC. But his defence he didn't mean to confuse him, was just a bit dazzed having been hit in the air.
