Interpros

Post by cormac »

Don't suppose anyone knows how teams were seperated in the interpros if they finished level on points?

Or did they just share the title?

According to this piece from the Irish Times there's an A match next Tuesday in Limerick against Munster A, who will be featuring a promising young second row.

Munster announced their team and it looks very strong apart from the front row. Although they have Marcus Horan on the bench to spice things up.

Munster A: J Murphy; L O'Dea, D Barnes, I Dineen, R O'Mahony; JJ Hanrahan, C Sheridan; J Cronin, S Henry, J Ryan; D Foley, P O'Connell; N Ronan, S Dougall, CJ Stander. Replacements: M Horan, D Casey, N Scannell, K Griffin, B Hayes, Dave O'Callaghan, B Slater, S Deasy, C Bohane, C Hircock, S Scanlon, J Holland

Jordan Coghlan at 12 is one thing, but 13? I'm surprised at that.

O'Shea is an inside centre, though, isn't he? If so, it'd be a case of playing one of them out of position.

Obviously felt that both centres needed a run more that Macken or O'Malley.

I wonder if a lot of the guys are being given a week off given there's no senior match for 3 weeks. There have been no training photos on Sportsfile or Inpho since the last match which is unusual.

They had last week off - some of them were on twitter talking about trips they were on

Jebus, no offence intended at O'Malley but, Ireland are stretched if he's there on the back of a couple of games. He has no form to consider.

Besides Hudson (Where he?) the only two wingers we have in the academy are on the pitch. Without Hudson, Reid is the only person who can play FB. Which leads to Marsh at OH.

The centres we have already covered

would like to have seen Conan at 8 (if fit) but good to see Gilsenan and Leavy involved. its an exciting young team, Munster should win with a much more experienced side

as excited as I am by Martin Moore (deservedly) starting will be very interesting to see how quickly Horan gets into trouble v Furlong and collapses everything
