Signing an NIQ 13 wouldn't make sense for them pre-RWC.

Good player, could be a shrewd signing.

Re: Rumour Mill
Says a lot more than linked, it says he has signed for 2 years and quotes Australian sources that he will not be considered by McKenzie for RWC2015.
Now that's the sort of quality signing that we should have more of. However, it will be very difficult to prise a centre from NZ or OZ until after World Cup.
Also heard suggestion at Ravenhill game that some Irish province is talking to an NZ under-age captain who plays centre....any ideas?

Re: Rumour Mill
Kane Douglas? tbh I would be more impressed if we signed the Pretoria Scud, we need some heft and explosiveness at the breakdown, does Douglas provide that? Douglas is a very good player but Toner has come on leaps and bounds and runs the lineout, we need a proper foil for him, Douglas just seems like a better more rounded version of Toner, although you can never have enough good players, so its a good signing either way.
