Eventually someone will post a rumour of a Leinster player going to Stade and eventually someone will be right.

I agree. He also mentioned that contract negotiations are ongoing with IRFU so probably sent onto iTalkSport for the opportunity to drop a hint about a possible move.

yeah - his contract is definitely up soon. this is just the usual protocol these days. At least Donncha Ryan was a bit creative by saying he was thinking of a move to another Irish province, although it probably blew up in his face when Schmidt said that Leinster had not actually been in contact with him.

Personally, I think he and Ireland could benefit by having him play a few seasons in the French league...sure wasn't it the making of Mr Brennan...

Eh? :?

USAP was the making of him as a player...t'was that stint with the Bluebells that stymied his progress...

I'd be very very surprised if he left. Not quite sure what he would gain, but he would lose his Irish place permanently and he's still 1st choice at Leinster... Meh, I smell a walk about in Biarritz coming on. He's going nowhere.

Kimmage kept pressing him on the issue and he repeated he 'loves Leinster' and being involved with them but eventually had to concede(to shut kimmage up presumably) that every player has to consider a move abroad blah blah blah etc.
Doubt he's going anywhere.

Is he dating Nadia Forde? Claims he is not, though she looks like she would fancy a stint in Paris...

I'd heard there was a possible player exchange with Fukuoka Sanix Blues allowing Brad Thorn to stay with us. This was on good authority from Balls doctors physio......

Could be very good for Luke to have a couple of seasons abroad, he has had a tough couple of years on the pitch.

Could return to Leinster a better player.

With Carr hitting the road (sorry), I hope Luuuuuke will be staying on.
Playing regularly within the Heineken cup champions team will make him a better player...... in fact being anywhere within 20mtrs of Nacewa will make him a better player!!

As long as a former Leinster coach is anywhere else in Europe we're going to get rumours.
What Lukey needs is to stay fit and get good runs of games under his belt.
Is the Carr thing official?
