Joe Schmidt - the coach with a Thorn in his side
Can I raise a practical question at this point? Are we gonna do "Stonehenge" tomorrow?

Getting ready for the parody songs already

Our Second Row has its thorn
Just like Lansdowne Road was reborn
Just like every Turnip sings his Galway song
Our Second Row has its thorn

Your Butt Is Mine
Gonna Tell You Right
Just Show Your Face
In Broad Daylight
I've Telling You
On How I Feel
Gonna Hurt Your Mind
Don't Shoot To Kill
Come On, Come On,
Get On Me

I'm Giving You
On the Count Of Three
To Show Your Stuff
Or Let It Be . . .
I'm Telling You
Just Watch Your Mouth
I Know Your Game
What You're About

Well They Say The Sky's
The Limit
And To Me That's Really True
But My Friend You Have
Seen Nothing
Just Wait 'Til I Get Through . . .

Because I've Brad, I've Brad-
Come On
(Brad Brad-Really, Really Brad)
You Know I've Brad, get on me! come on!
And The Whole World Has To
Answer Right Now
Just To Tell You Once Again,
Who's Brad . . .

The Word Is Out
You're Doin' Wrong
Gonna Lock You Up
Before Too Long,
Your Lyin' Eyes
So Listen Up
Don't Make A Fight,
Your Talk Is Cheap
You're Not A Man
You're Throwin' Stones
To Hide Your Hands

But They Say The Sky's
The Limit
And To Me That's Really True
And My Friends You Have
Seen Nothin'
Just Wait 'Til I Get Through . . .

Because I've Brad, I've Brad
You Know It come on
(Brad Brad-Really, Really Brad)
You Know I've Brad, I've Brad-
You Know It, You Know
(Brad Brad-Really, Really Brad)
(And The Whole World Has To
Answer Right Now)
Just To Tell You Once Again,
(Just To Tell You Once Again)
Who's Brad . . .

I thought I saw a man brought to life
He was warm - he came around like
He was dignified
He showed me what it was to cry
Well you couldn't be that man I adored
You don't seem to know - don't seem to care
What your heart is for
No I don't know him anymore

There's nothin' where we used to lie
Conversation has run dry
That's what's going on
Nothing's fine

I'm Thorn
I'm all out of faith
This is how I feel
I'm cold and I am chained
Lying naked on the floor
Illusion never changed
Into something real
I'm cold and I am shamed and bound
And broken on the floor
And I can see the perfect sky is Thorn
You're a little late
I'm already Thorn

I spoke to a Sanix Blues Club official today. He confirmed that the Club are agreeable to his move to Leinster. However he feels there are some issues he has to attend to before he moves. He has been made a Community Leader in his neighbourhood in Japan and he is supposed to be inducted in mid March. The Japanese are big on ceremony and it is unlikely he will snub this ceremony. In addition he is best man at his sisters wedding in New Zealand in early April. Lastly he has indicated that he intends to compete in the Tokyo marathon in April.

So he won't be cling to Leinster

Ah Lads, easy on the limp wristed stuff. He's a 2nd row not a ballerina.

"Brad Thorn, Brad Thorn. Whatcha gonna do? Whatcha gonna do when he comes for you?" was fine.

Great signing by Leinster, especially Joe, our young forwards could really learn a thing or two about what it takes to have a very long and successful
career from one of the Legends of the Rugby League and Union codes.
Oh and if he picks up 2 more medals here that would be nice as well....

My auntie's chocolate teapot told me that Brad Thorn doesn't like playing in the tighter Test jerseys so it looks like all of this talk about him playing for us may well be premature...
