The last Leo stunk so bad. I had a photograph with him and the bang off the suit. He'll never get a mate like that

I thought Leo was hilarious yesterday. Knew there would be no shortage of moaning about him on here though. He was well into it, spreading cheer all over the place. More please. Kept the noise levels up too!

I saw Leo over by the South stand at one stage. Never saw him anywhere near us and unless he was in front of us I probably wouldn't notice. I suppose the kids I'm with are growing out of him, of at lrast they'd probably say they were but they still have residual affection. So not the hard working, cover every blade of grass on the sideline type of mascot we're used to.

We are Mexican....

Seriously though, would hate to see Mexican waves at the game. Disrespectful IMO

I've never been a fan of the wave myself. To me it's a throw back to the Charlton soccer era. Suddenly guys who had never been at a football match were filling Lansdowne road but had little or no interest in the football. They were just along for the atmosphere. I remember when Ronnie Whelan scored his goal against USSR(yes I am that old) it was reported in the papers the following day that half the Irish fans in the stadium actually missed it. They were paying more attention to the wave that was on its second lap of the stadium.

On the Leo issue, best of luck to the new replacement

I am officially an old codger. I bloody hate Mexican waves, detracts from the atmosphere and my concentration on the game.

Does anyone actually know is Ian gone for good or whats the story? He missed the Ospreys game and then an imposter appears on Saturday though he was trying his best and did have his drum in the Grandstand at one stage. Was in the southstand sitting down and borrowing at flag at another juncture to get the kids going...fair play to him but where's Ian?

Me too. The transition seemed very quiet. After years of loyal service. Did he just get a pain in his....? or were there dark forces at work?
