I dont think I'd be able to stomach it if we went drastically backwards from last year. I'm not even basing that on success, I just hope the performances are there and consistent!

I also hate the close season. Although I think my family are relieved because I finally talk about something else. I thing I was unbearable from Harlequins to Edinburgh this year. All I cared about was Leinster tickets/travel/team seletion etc..

b$&%@#ds - evry one of you..........

As Oldschool says, you only have about a month, and 28 days to go - think of those who will not get to see the defending European Champions AT ALL in 2009-10...................

Anyone know when pre-season training starts? I seem to remember it was around this time last year.

Don't we all! At least the first pre-season game is 7 weeks from Saturday! That means I fly out 7 weeks tomorrow :D

I think we should all show solidarity with the team. Individually and collectively we need to start our own pre-season training. I for one am going to start this friday. So I'm going to leave work at 5.30, get to Ballsbridge, get a bite to eat, a few pints and make sure I'm at the Anglsea gates by 7.15. There may be no 7.30 kick off but you can never train too much :D

I think 7.15 is too late. Aim for 6.45.

Ah no, it's pre-season, I need to work up to that gently. By september I'd hope to make it 6.45

I have to say I've been going through severe rugby withdrawal symptoms for a few weeks now. Its like a big part of me has gone missing and I'm trying to find it :)

6:45? Starting a bit late Grumpy? I seem to recall being in a pub quite early on a Friday match day and the only other soul besides me in a Leinster jersey was your good self! :)
