Reading Humphreys comments here I think I'd take sparrow even with a plan to take Blackrock smith in as well.

Trevor Brennans son about to have a jump I market value
Am I reading this wrong re Harry to Conn, in that they were looking to move him but Harry didn't like what Conn were selling in terms of the overall operation and on that basis provinces need to market themselves to players better?

Yes.

He says provinces need to make themselves more attractive to leinster players to move to them.

None of our 10s want to go to Connacht which has ended up in us building a huge line with an expected 6 players in 10 (if we include Frawley) with new entrants into the academy this year. During the 6N is when players like Tector usually get game time but if AF sticks to his guns and doesn't select either of the Byrnes again we're still going to have 4 10s in the club and I can't see Tector getting played with Harry and Ross infront of him nevermind Gabriel.

I don't know how long some of our 10s contracts have left on them but it looks like we're going to be forced to make some serious difficult decisions next year with contract renewals that will force some players to move to Connacht or abroad. This year will have to be an absolutely huge year for all of our 10s as the queue is just going to keep on building.

Think contracts for both Byrnes are up at the end of this coming season?

Highly doubt it. His focus will be 20’s surely. Prendergast, both Byrnes and Frawley is more then enough. Would have to be a major injury crisis for Gabriel to get called upon next season.

Tector would be far more likely to do Emerging Ireland I would think

Are just Berman and Murphy Ulster bound next season or is de Klerk also heading up north?

England are pretty ropey at half-back and they've no superstars in midfield. Big pack & very quick wingers. We've a lot of classy footballers and plenty of balls up front.

A real contest. Looking forward to it.

Passing on Foxe because of Sparrow looking like a mistake at the minute. Potentially a big one down the line.
