Actually, if we don't knock the rust off early there is potential there for this not to be a tight one at all. As Ronk says we need to be on our guard.

I heard yesterday that Cardiff haven't beaten us since 2011 (might be wrong on that). I think they will feel they have a chance to catch us cold tonight and will come out fast.

Cardiff captain Josh Turnbull ahead of Leinster clash:
“You look at some of the best football teams. They can have two separate sides of equal quality. Only money brings you that and if you’ve got money you can go and spend it on the players you want.”

WRU is financially better fixed than the IRFU.
Josh Turnbull (budding union rep?) makes a pitch for a timely pay raise to bulk up his retirement fund.
Fair play to him

Excited to see how Frawley/Osborne goes. Looks like a nice balanced partnership.

I think I read before that McCarthy only took rugby in 4th year or something, is that correct?

Pretty incredible rise if that's the case.

He looked powerful for the U20s, great to see him get a shot at a higher level with experience around him.

I think it was just that he didnt play cup rugby until 6th year.

4 Naas RFC lads in the 23. And we’re good at hurling too.

It’s not the money that brings us that it’s our age grade/ schools system. We don’t go around buying different players from around the world all our players are home grown.

To be fair buying in Michael Ala'alatoa was a really good move.

I mean it's a gut punch on most teams to have to face him when otherwise they'd be expecting an academy player.

The money keeps those players in blue though.

It's a bit of a stupid comment from Turnbull, but there's a dose of truth in it too.
