Fancy a bit of an alternative to an Irish Bar before the game , was looking at a place called Berton Goikoa on Rodriguez Arias Kalea near the ground anyone ever been there ?.

Would say like most places depends if the place has a dress code or nor ?. Pintxos bars are like street restaurants, posh ones are more sniffy than more basic ones !.

Can live with that, have seats in row three of the ground if it lashes should be plenty of spare seats further back to settle into !.

in licenciado pozas is the "huevo berria" and next to the stadium the "antxi" and "la catedral" in alameda urquijo for pintxos and in "la bodega" they have beer bottles "mahou " at 1'5 euros (I hope they do not raise the price), It is also good "las cañitas de briñas".
