Shouldn’t be a problem finding someone for it, that’s by far the most atmospheric part of the ground !.TheBear wrote:I have a spare ticket for the East Central terrace. To be fair the mess was Exeter's which Leinster fixed within 24hrs.
The got lost in the post one baffled me, would Exeter not courier hundreds of tickets?

Will be in Exeter for the match! First I'm going to explore the delights of Torquay on Saturday night (I booked late so accommodation prices in Exeter were crazy, so took a cheaper option).
I have it on good authority that (in my mid-forties) I will be the handsome young buck of the town.
Lock up your grannies!!!!

Gleneagles Hotel, Torquay.

Still if you're on a Grab a Granny night you may still end up there.
In February 2015 the hotel closed. It will be replaced with retirement apartments.

Re: Roll Call Exeter
For anyone arriving in on Sunday morning and expecting to get the train to Exeter from Bristol
Be warned that there is a weekend train strike
Not all trains are cancelled but plenty are
Our train was cancelled
We had to get a replacement bus to Taunton and then train to Exeter
Our arrival time should have been 1.45 and we eventually arrived at 3.30
No crisis today but tomorrow pre match would have been stressful

When I booked my train the other day, the replacement bus was already factored into the journey. Hopefully, others will be in that position too.

That’s good at leastTheBear wrote:When I booked my train the other day, the replacement bus was already factored into the journey. Hopefully, others will be in that position too.
I booked the train a few weeks ago and got no email with any update about the strike
At Temple Meads no one seemed to have a clue what was going on

Anyone driving from London way should be advised that the M4 is closed at Reading all weekend.

Stuck in Oxford, can't get a train, bus or even a cab! Very frustrating.

Did you get there in end Mr/Mrs/Ms Bear?

Re: Roll Call Exeter
No.
I had nopeare's ticket, so the ticket screw up turned out to be handy, cos I could email the PDFs.
Manchester derby and snow combined to make it very difficult to even find somewhere to watch it.
Looked like there was a decent Leinster crew there. I hope those who made it had a ball.
Great result, hard fought.
