Ulster v Leinster this Friday

Post by Le Duvet »

Our first visit to Ravenhill - to mark the official opening of the re-furbished ground. Any suggestions on places to get a pre-match bite to eat / pints / car parking near the ground?

Guy I know (loosely throug Rugby) has a pub called the Taphouse near Queens. You can park near it. They do a good deal on a meal and a pint. They bus you up to Ravenhill and back for free (only a couple of miles) and all you have to do is have a few pints there. (Hard work I know)

Few hotels round the corner too.

We generally do something similar in Bangor these days (About 20 miles out) as we have mates there.

The Errigal Inn or Pavilion bar near the country end of the Ormeau Road about 15-20 mins walk from the stadium good for pints and food but be there early, normally some Ulster supporters in both from around lunchtime/afternoon.
Just don't park across someones drive or on the restricted places and you will be fine.
