Ben Foden picked up a bit of an injury tonight in a game of no particular consequence.

PRL may fine Northampton for letting North play for Wales.

For what its worth - quick summary for you

I reckon the station to the ground is about 15 minutes as Sarge says

the Thomas a Becket Pub is a short stroll from the station and on the way to the ground - very popular and good food especially the breakfast. This place was taken over when we played Munster at the gardens a few years ago. Landlord big rugby fan - decent smoking area at the back and the landlord opened up a Marquee to serve beer for the Munster game - gets very crowded on big macth days..

The Foundry - 5 minutes beyond the Beckett - smaller pub and hence gets crowded - food is served and again the place has a decent smoking area with an outside bar which is often 'overlooked' - I reckon the Guiness is better than the Beckett but obviously not the same as you guys are used to..

The Working Mens Club, five minutes beyond the Foundry - was popular a few years ago but despite the prices not used so much these days - it may have changed but the service was so slow..

The Sevens Pub and restaurant is a 'new' venture and more of an expensive Bistro sort of pub these days with expensive food etc - its more or less opposite the ground..

Inside the Ground - the Rodber bar stretches the length of the main Tetleys Stand ( behind teh Terraces ) gets crowded as you can imagine - no children allowed in here..

Heroes Bar - child friendly Bar tucked in the Corner of the tetleys stand - lengthy queues develop

The Village sits behind the Burda stand in the South of the stadium - plenty of Food options - some a bit 'expensive' but you takes your choice.. the Pork and Stuffing rolls served by Sauls are legendary as are the homemade Pies/Pasties.. Large Marquee serving beer..

Decent Fish and Chip shop opposite the Ground and a Curry House which has a good reputation

let me know if you need to know anything else -
