Panic over, it's closer to Bologna than Parma is.

Just as well - Parma has nothing in it.

Stadium has its own Station. Stadio Gigilo is the old name for Stadio Del Tricolore. Train and Bus Timetable from Reggio Emilia Main Station.

I would safely say then shagger you have either not been or if you were there did not take a walk around and investigate the town

Well obviously it has something, have been there and didn't rate it in terms of rugby towns/cities i've visited over the years. Isn't as nice as Treviso on my opinion.

Treviso is more compact and quaint but at the same time Parma is pretty good also, was very nice in late September, nice park and the big old upstairs horse arena are well worth a visit, good choice of restaurants as well, probably better than Treviso actually. I like them both and would have put Treviso ahead but a third visit to Parma has me sort of stuck between the 2 now if I could only manage one trip

Any recommendations for decent pub in Parma? Crappy day for a match so not expecting much by way of rugby pubs - just looking for a direction to be pointed in for a bit of atmosphere or whatever.

Massimo

Thanks for your offer of help.

Like Leinstron, I would be interested in Pubs. I am staying in Reggio on Sunday night. Would like to meet up. What would you recommend to do after the game?

What are you all asking for pubs for? You're going to Emilia, you should be asking about the food and trattoria!!

Jealous...

In Parma go to Garibaldi Square, the main square, stand with your back facing the clock and then head down the side street straight in front of you, that is the main food and drink zone, nice bars and food down that street plus the side streets and alleys off it.

Hi,
In Parma a good tipical restaurant it's RISTORANTE CORALE VERDI - VC. ASDENTE 9 - 43125 - PARMA (PR)
Tel: 0521 208291 | Fax: 0521 237912 | E-mail: corale.verdi-sante@libero.it - http://www.ristorantecoraleverdiparma.it
i was there a couple of month ago with my glasgow' friends and they got out enthusiasts. It's close to the main city park. Friendly stuff and not too expensive
a good pub is VECCHIE MANIERE; many locals beers (some of them are super)
Birreria Vecchie Maniere
Borgo Bernabei 40, Oltretorrente, Parma
info@birreriavecchiemaniere.it - http://www.birreriavecchiemaniere.it/

in Reggio i can bring you wherever you want....just let me know if you prefere pubs or pizzeria or typical emilian food (probably it's the better choice...).
how many of you will stay in Reggio after the match?
