Nice one, Grumpy. That's the Ulster match sorted now. Now all we have to do is bloody well get there!

The Southwest trains service between Waterloo and Exeter is running a restricted timetable - you MUST check up on this if you're going by rail because your plans MAY need to change

Folks

Just saw on Telly that there are problems at airports in the UK with the snow. Southampton Cardiff Bristol and Exeter airports are reportedly having problems.

Also snow is to be worse tomorrow.

Most of the forecasts I've seen have predicted little to no snow tomorrow.

Edit: all 3 of this mornings flights from Dublin to Bristol have been cancelled.

I live about a mile from Sandy Park and have just been over there. The match itself is almost certain to go ahead tomorrow.
Chiefs issued the following statement earlier today.

"Despite the wintry conditions being felt across much of the United Kingdom currently, Exeter Chiefs have no immediate concerns with regards to tomorrow’s Heineken Cup clash with Leinster taking place.

There has been slight snowfall in the area, but head groundsman Adrian Whitton says conditions are not expected to worsen and the game, which is due to kick-off at 6pm, will go ahead as planned.

Any updates to the situation will be posted here on the club website and our various social media sites. There is no need to contact the club office in relation to this matter."

Look forward to meeting you all tomorrow ( if you can get here. ) Don't forget that the Supporters bar ( halfway up the main granstand ) has live music and is open to all after the match. Céad míle fáilte

Cheers! It seems the main issue is getting us over there. There were groups supposed to be flying over to Bristol this morning, who are presumably gone back home or stuck in the airport. If we actually manage to get to Bristol hopefully all will be fine. Hopefully see you all tomorrow.

Some of the people on the Ryanair flight are on the 22.30 one tonight. Apart from that they're screwed.

At least the people on Aer Lingus were given other options and Bails and a couple of others have gotten on the 14.00 flight to Bournemouth. Hopefully it works out for them.

Bristol Airport Update: Runway clear and flights departing, but there are delays and cancellations as a result of severe weather.

Birmingham airport update: Flights are still suspended as heavy snow continues to fall at the airport.

Departures:

DUBLIN Ryanair FR509 2100 Bag drop opens 1900

That would be the 22.30 coming back and it's the only one not cancelled so hopefully they'll get through the backlog and it will go.

I just saw that they had started boarding the aircraft earlier, per the departures on the website. A good few flights have left now but none to seem to have arrived yet.
