Any idea what capacity will be, as i would say we will have a decent support.
Maybe they could open the stand behind goal for us!!!

JHS (the one we use for every game) 'holds' 4,500, so anything over 5,000 and we would need to open a second stand (the joys of operating unreserved seating... Sure you don't have that problem in Ireland though)

TBH, I would be disappointed and surprised if we don't open a second one that day, especially if we can beat Montpellier to keep some interest in the tournament ourselves. Think the North Stand (wan behind the posts) has been open twice before for HC matches - for Gloucester (who had a huge travelling support.. Grounded in Bristol because of fog!) and Saracens (though that was a swelling in the home support due to possibility of a QF. We blew it. Spectacularly!)

Surely you have a larger travelling support than Gloucester and Saracens? ;)

Actual capacity would be around 7,000ish (much dependant on how the police feel on the day, it could go up to 8K, or as low as 6K)

However, all this is based on our usual set-up with TV cameras being sited in scaffolding in front of the old stand. Obviously that takes days to dismantle, and therefore can't be done on match day, however it will be coming down for Edinburgh on n'er day. If you are likely to bring enough to make it worthwhile, sure we could keep that down giving capacity of circa 9,000 (Biggest crowd was a 'sell-out' 8,800, but there were some large gaps and they could have let more in)

BTW, although we don't know the date yet, tickets are on sale on the SRU site (£15 if bought in advance, £20 on the day. Not sure if they post overseas though - but fairly sure you can at least pay and collect on match day)
