Leicester Tigers - Saturday, 20/1 at 3.15pm

Post by Avenger »

Are many planning on going to this?
Was considering it but not a season ticket holder so not sure what the ticket details are.
Suppose its either a package or get a ticket off Leicester.

Tickets will be freely available
It’s highly unlikely that it will be a sellout and given that the flights to Birmingham etc are normally both freely available and cheap it will be much cheaper to go solo rather than package

12 (at last count) of us going.

Flying to Birmingham on Friday evening and home on Sunday afternoon.

Staying in the Premier Inn St George's Way which is a 15 minute walk to O'Neills which was the supporters base for the Q-Final in 2022 and also a 15 minute walk to Welford Road.

Tickets haven't gone on sale yet, but Leicester do an early bird discount if you purchase well in advance so keep an eye out.

Edit - Probably a good idea to put correct date in the title of thread. 20/1 at 15.15

OLSC posted a link on their twitter yesterday with some tickets for sale, but by the time I got my crew organised they'd been taken back off sale.

General sale not yet open, but is the next game to be opened.

I'm booked on Aer Lingus flight arriving into Birmingham at 11am on day of game. I've a car hired to drive to Leicester if anyone wants a lift. Heading back after game to airport for 8pm flight home. Cost of return flight only €60!

The OLSC ticket link had tickets in either the main terrace or the cheap seats on the left/right edges of the big new stand

That was quickly taken down. I think Tigers need to offer us 20-25% of the capacity.

Capacity: 25,849 according to wiki, so somewhere around five and a half thousand, assuming there are not more available nearer the date. Since Tigers are managing to win the odd game, we may well sell out.

Can I commend you on your choice of green this season - a bit shiny, but the right shade for this goldstar jersey owner!

There's just too much of it, when we had the traditional stripes it jarred the eyes a little less, however we will not get lost anywhere when out on out own in it.

Going to buy a couple when they go on general sale on Friday. Any idea which part of the stadium we’ll be in?
