Who wouldn’t like a few days in the South of France in deepest December
I’ll be there and hopefully a reasonable amount of fellow travellers
By the way KLM Dublin to Montpellier with total travel time of about 6 hours was well priced the last time I looked

There are nine of us travelling over for the game.
We are flying into Toulouse and should arrive in Montpellier around 17:30 or so.
Does anybody have any suggestions of where to get something to eat for dinner at that early time?
Will there be a Leinster HQ as such where we can all congregate?
Will buy tickets in Eden Central Right.

Hi

Depends what type of place you want. A lot of French Restaurants don't open before 7pm - though there are always options.

There is a "L'Entrecote" (https://www.entrecote.fr/) in the centre - if your group like a casual steak and chips, reasonably quick in-and-out type of place. I know it's popular with many and it'll probably be mentioned in the away guide.

Last time our group went to a place called "Tôt Ou Tard" - 7 Pl. de la Chapelle Neuve. It's a bistro style, quite casual but really good food (especially seafood). It's on a small square, a little out of the way but still central - a local's type of place where you could easily hang out for a few hours (if that's the type of thing your group would like).

Both of the above should be open early

In terms of pubs - there are lots but an smallish Irish bar near the centre with tables outside - again probably not where the main crowd will go but good for a quieter few pints and have the rugby on the TV - Fitzpatricks Pub (https://www.www.fitzpatricksirishpub.com/)

There'll be a supporters away guide with the proposed pub to congregate (usually put out the week before the game). Last one here - https://d2cx26qpfwuhvu.cloudfront.net/l ... n-2018.pdf
I like your right leg. A lovely leg for the role.
I've got nothing against your right leg.
The trouble is ... neither have you

O'Carolans will more than likely be the HQ for the weekend.
L'entrecote is super..and i can recommend
but you cant book a table, you have to que. So if you are under time pressure there is no guarantee of a table, its v busy
lots of nice restaurants in the old part of the town

We have got seats near the front of eden park centre right. still plenty of available

Hope it is not as wet as last match in Montpelier.
Bucketed chats et chiens, but thankfully stopped just before match.
Group of us drove up from Carcassonne, hoping to see a bit of Montpelier but that was impossible in the rain.
Again thoroughly recommend L'entrecote

Remembering my Leaving Cert French "il pleut comme vache qui pisse" - it's raining like a pissing cow

I think we are now going to give this trip a miss.. too close to xmas with all the extra tests, restrictions in place.
we were travelling through uk, which complicates it further.

Just for peoples information, you can get the Pcr test in Dublin Airport before you depart.

The link to book an appointment is https://booking.randox.ie/. They are open for appointments from 2am on, so it should suit all sort of flight schedules. The test results will be emailed to you 24 hours later and cost €59.

You can also get Pcr tests near the Polygone in Montpellier but you have to make sure that they can be used for travel purposes.

I am going, looking forward to it. 2 out of 4 in our group have pulled out. I got my booster yesterday and getting my PCR tomorrow before departing Friday.

Flying to Dublin-Carcassonne and driving to Montpellier, out Friday, home Sunday.
