There are two seperate investigations - Swiss authorities are investigating corruption around the awarding of world cups to Russia and Qatar, whereas the FBI are investigating the corrupt award of tournament and broadcasting rights in the Americas

It could also be a case of rounding up the people below Blatter and threatening them with punishment unless they spill the beans on him.

Why am I unsurprised that Jack Warner was amongst those who were indicted?

Sevilla beat Dnipro 3-2 in Europa League final. They get into the Champs League for next season too. 5 Spanish teams next season.

The Europa is such a huge drain for clubs I think it is right and proper that if you win it you get into the CL the following year. Good luck to them and well done.

Exactly. A few days on interesting paper headlines but absolutely nothing will change. Blatter will get elected and those in charge of football will continue to give their votes to those that pay the highest.

Were you not automatically re-signed up to it? I can see 20 teams in there but I don't know how to get the code, sorry.

Best league in the world had another bad night. Arsenal lose at home to Olympiakos 2-3 and Chelsea lose 2-1 away to Porto. That's 5 defeats in the first 6 games for the the premier leagues finest.
