Will we be getting BJ Penn V Ken FLo and Griffin V Silva on free-view like we did UFC 100?

Not sure on that one RP, I think the UFC have signed some sort of deal with ESPN for the UK market, not sure where that leaves Irelands coverage, will upddate when i hear.

Affliction went under before their 3 rd fight night happened this weekend and it has been rumoured that the UFC have been in talk with Fedor Emalianenko and his management to try bring him to the UFC. Unfortuinately they turned down the UFC's offer by all accounts :

"Details of the MEGA deal offered to and turned down by WAMMA heavyweight champion, Fedor Emelianenko and his management team, M-1 Global by the UFC have been leaked.

According to the Carmichael Dave show:

- The UFC offered Fedor a 6 fight, 30 million dollar contract. That's 5 million dollars a fight

- The UFC offered Fedor an immediate title shot

- Lesnar/Fedor would be the biggest PPV in MMA history (we assume), and the UFC offered M-1 Global a cut of the PPV on top of Fedor's purse.

- Fedor was free to wear as many M-1 logoed items as he wished.

- The UFC also relented on allowing Fedor to compete in combat sambo.

The offer was deemed to be a good one by M-1 Global but they turned it down after the UFC refused to climb down on the issue of co-promoting events. This deal now looks dead in the water and Fedor’s manager, Vadim Finkelchtein, has admitted that they will now begin to explore other options"

If this is correct and is the actual deal offered by UFC then Fedor and his dick manager are stupid to pass up this deal, 5mil a fight!!!! Straight into a title shot and he can compete in his Sambo(was always a point of contention that the UFC would not allow him do this). He'll not get that kind of money anywhere else, there are few places still left and none nearly as big or with as big pockets as the UFC.

I see that since Afflication has folded that Dana and Tito have buried the hatchet. Funny how that works, but I suppose money talks and BS walks.

Basically to get UFC 101 in Ireland(i'm not quite 100% on this) you have to have Sky Digital as UPC Ntl do not yet carry the new ESPN Channel that UFC is now on.

Show Spoiler:
I did, what a savage fighter he is, apparently he dislocated Griffins jaw and burst his eardrum - thats why griffen ran from the octagon after the fight as the doc told him he needed medical attention asap.
All the fights are here(or they were on Sunday - not sure if they still work)

abderson silva is living proof why you should never F with someone working in McDonalds, you never know when they'll say " Do want a roundhouse kick to the face with that?"
best quote from croker was this old boy behind me after about 65 minutes when you could see the red jerseys flooding out of the place

"Lock the gates, make them watch"

Disturbing yet arousing at the same time

There was a knockout after 7 seconds of the first round in UFC102 last night, new record. Think it was on the undercard.

I missed this one. Moving house and only got my NTL sorted. I heard that CroCop was sh1t. He should call it a day really.

I bought a couple of Pride DVDs last week and was quite unimpressed. They focused too much on spectacle for my liking. Butterbean was in one of the fights FFS. Looking forward to Lesnar V Carwin. Very tough one to call.

Yep, The Outlaw is in real trouble, looking forward to GSP shuttin him up. Unfortunately Thiago Alves has been taken off the card as they found something on his pre fight cat scan that may be bad. Now Fitch is fightin Ben Saunders instead. Frank Mir V Shane Carwin will also be a crackin fight
