Sadly that may be his last real chance at Wimbledon. He turns 30 in September, which is about two years past the peak of most tennis players. He has only been able to pursue his dream thanks to the generosity of his parents and certain other parties who have given him grants or funding. Whatever about the former, it's difficult to see the latter continuing for too much longer.

He's been a great servant of Irish tennis over the years though, picking up some fine scalps. However, he'll never forgive himself for letting that 4-1 lead slip in the fifth today.
