Re: Rumour Mill
That old geezer who gave us the new training facility. Any chance we could tap him up for a few more quid to get Digby? No harm in asking.

Re: 3 provinces see Pro12 attendance increases-Munster in de
Are you sure you're right about Thomond? I'd have thought crowds are down from the first year of the new ground. Correct - since the new stadium opened, average attendances there for Pro12 regular season games have declined each year. 08/09 25,327 (5 games) 09/10 23,588 (6 games) 10/11 20,180 (7 ga...

http://www.rabodirectpro12.com/news/16426.php Rabo Site confirms continual rise in attendances or "tickets sold". Small increase true enough but it will be interesting to see Ulsters attendances next season. I bet they will have a very big rise indeed. Certainly for the big games like the...

Re: Munster Thread 2012-2013
Bad news about DOC and Dougie missing the game against Clermont. DOC's had a good season and you would want to have Howlett on the field for such a big game, lost his pace but still a class act. What's the story with Ryans shoulder?

Re: Leinster v Biarritz
While it would be a nice bonus to win, I'm worried that this Amlin Cup is going to distract us from our real target now, winning the league. 3 consecutive final losses in 2010, 2011 & 2012. We absolutely have to back up our HC success with a league win. It was the exhaustion of the HC finals th...

Yep, you don't become 3rd highest ranked team in Europe by being just OK. If we're not 100% then we could be in real trouble. I have a ticket for the final and dammit I want to see my team play. Sexton to start.

Re: Heinke off
Heinke was the perfect foil for Healy. And up and coming tearaway prop who had work to do on his scrummaging paired off with a no frills rock in Heinke. The scrum against Tolouse and of course that try in the final. Probably his single biggest yardage gain of his career! He also stayed around long e...

Re: Free for all season when Playing Leinster
Bails, don't get me wrong, I think you're a fine poster, but this is a bit too much. Nobody is out to get us. The refs don't go out onto the pitch thinking that its OK to clock a Leinsterman and the Rabo officials don't look at a bit of video and say "Well, normally I would cite the lad for tha...

Re: 3 provinces see Pro12 attendance increases-Munster in de
Great to see 8 of the 12 with increasing numbers even if by small amounts for some of them. We are almost at 93% capacity so we can't really grow much more until the stadium is revamped.
Interesting to see 550 more Munster fans turniped for the Ulster game than when we were there. Sick of losing?

Re: Frightening
I would imagine Woody was a decent choice for that role, he's a global figure in the game and probably hasn't dined out on mashed turnip and crubeens in about 10 years. Although I truly wish he would buy himself a few more adjectives for his radio and TV work. "Unbelievable" and "Unbe...

Re: O'Connell not cited
I would say that the article is really about marking Nigel Owens card. Trying to pressurise him into "proving" that he is not the turnip-lover many have called him in the past. I've never seen a ref pushed as hard as he was by POC in Thomond last week. Finally punishing him with a 10 yard ...

End of Season (Era) event?
At the end of this season, whenever it does end, we will be saying goodbye to Johnny, Isa, Conway,Carr, Heinke,Hagan and some others too I assume. Joe is almost certain to be leaving also and who knows about Bod for sure? Are they just going to pack their bags and head off or is there something bein...
