Re: Connacht 2017 - 2018
Kyle Godwin to pack his bagsWe’re hearing Godwin, the Brumbies No.12, has signed a deal to play in Ireland. His one and only Test for the Wallabies came in 2016 in a game when Michael Cheika rested some of his best players, so you can’t blame the 25-year-old for chasing the Euro. From the Oz newspa...

Re: Scott Fardy vs Tadhg Beirne Round 2 - Sat 3.15 Sky Sport
Sure you could make the same argument about a player starting when another is injured. I guarantee you Leavy isn't feeling sorry for himself only getting to play 6 Nations rugby because SOB and VdF are injured Quite the opposite I would think.

Re: Leinster v Saracens
It's Brussels sprouts in my current case. I may have spent time with turnips but they never turned me. Apart from the fact it is often easier for me to buy tickets through the teams we play away, I've also noticed tickets have occasionally been cheaper (not for the semi in Lyon of course). The cant...

Re: Leinster v Saracens
Saracens have returned some of their allocation for the QF. Is that a surprise? Any ideas how many they'd expect to bring? I was at the Munster semi in the Aviva last year with them and they made a decent racket. But I think part of that was how quiet the Munster fans were. I'd be shocked if there ...

Interesting how it's "possibly/one of" Ireland's greatest 8 for Heaslip, but Bowe is "Ireland's greatest-ever right winger"

As well as this, even though they clear and grit the roads etc, all cars (in Sweden anyway) have to have winter tyres when driving in these conditions.

1 Grand Slam 3 Six Nations 3 HEC 3 League titles 2 Triple Crowns 1 Challenge Cup 1 Lions series win 95 Ireland caps 5 Lions caps 229 Leinster caps And I'm STILL disappointed for him. Brilliant player. One more Grand Slam would have been deserved. All said otherwise really. Just this- he was great p...

Wow, there really wasn't any exaggeration about how bad an article that is. Absolutely no flow, full of small sentences that have no connection to the preceding or following sentences. Even the opening line is like reading a live feed of the game. The highlight is probably "European rugby is ba...

So we're missing: Ireland: McGrath, Healy, Cronin, Furlong, Porter, Toner, Ryan, Leavy, Conan, Sexton, Carbery, R Kearney, McFadden (?) Injury: Ruddock, SOB, VDF, Connors, McGrath, JGP, Marsh, Henshaw, T Daly, ROL Possibly getting Tracy and Ross Byrne back this week. That's at least 23 players miss...

The TG4 commentator had his own take on "Larmour could step you in a phonebox" by saying he'd step you 'in a confession box'. I enjoyed that

After the talk lately of some big spreads offered by the bookies, PP had a spread of 17 today for France Italy!

Bonus point win for Edinburgh tonight. Can't see Ulster getting much from the Scarlets game so could see a bit of a gap opening up.

Re: Leinster vs Southern Kings - Friday 23/2 19.35 TG4
Jack McGrath played at TH for Leinster in at least one game. Against Ospreys I think, as a sub when both our THs were injured. So that makes him a TH :?: . I'm sure there's a trick answer or two. Nathan White was an ex Leinster player when he was capped at TH. Not sure but I'd be looking at the per...

Re: A whiff of Cordite
They mightn't have expected Fardy to have such a huge impact in his first season, expecting there to be a lot more rotation in the row and between him and Lowe.

Re: A whiff of Cordite
Really insightful stuff on OTB last night from EOS and ROC (using a lot of TLAs here). When asked who would win; ROC said he didn't know and that it was too close to call EOS said if the game is played at the tempo Ireland want, Ireland would win but if it's played at the tempo Wales want, Wales wo...
