There's a lot of 2009 going on with the way we're being written off as incapable of not flaking out.
Feels like 2009 alright, fingers crossed

Re: Leinster v La Rochelle Saturday 13th April 2024 at 5.30pm RTE2

We are due a rub of the green, to be fair. And, while we’re not as good this season, the same is true of them. Finally, I have decided to revert to my 2006 jersey for the weekend. The 2019 one has brought me/us no good luck. 2006? Black Sunday? Surely not? Sent from my VOG-L09 using Tapatalk I stil...

Re: Leinster v La Rochelle Saturday 13th April 2024 at 5.30pm RTE2

They’re always poor. They’re a horrible team to watch. They win through brutality, doggedness and mental strength. They didn’t beat us last year by being good; they beat us by making us bad. I absolutely hate them. They are the anti-rugby. Jeepers CE they’ve really got to you. You’re not usually so...

Re: Leinster v La Rochelle Saturday 13th April 2024 at 5.30pm RTE2

Obviously Ryan and Ringrose would have been definite starters and will be badly missed (I’m assuming Ringrose won’t make it), but does anyone know to what extent La Rochelle are hampered by injuries. Someone has posted an LAR team on the Leinster Fans Facebook page - as per a French paper. Full tea...

Re: Cian Healy record count-down

129 Ireland caps. 4 to go to equal BODs record (though he Lions caps) 273 Leinster caps. 7 to go to equal Toner's 280. :green clap: Really incredible. Currently equal first place for both :- a) champion's cup appearances & b) international tries scored by a prop. Hopefully he'll have the champi...

If Connors starting is true, this is what I expect the team to be: Porter, Healy, Sheehan, Furlong, McCarthy, Moloney, Doris, Connors, Baird JGP, Ross, Lowe, Osborne/Ringer(if fit), Henshaw, Larmour, Keenan Healy, Kelleher, Mike, VDF, Conan, Jenkins, Luke, Frawley Harry to miss out! Bold move start...

Karl Dickson is the ref. https://x.com/Murray_Kinsella/status/1777344484184850682 What are the recent games he has refereed us in? He's reffed Leinster four times in this competition. Includes away wins in Treviso, Montpellier and Connacht plus the huge win against Toulouse in the semi-final in 202...

Any chance that the woman who fed the all blacks that dodgy meal a couple of days before the 1995 world cup final is available to work in the kitchen in fota this week?

Re: Leinster v La Rochelle Saturday 13th April 2024 at 5.30pm RTE2

I missed last week's injury update. What's the story with Jimmy O'brien? Not suggesting he's dropped straight back into the 23, just wondering what his availability is, if at all. This is what was mentioned Jimmy O’Brien will be further assessed this week as he nears a return from a neck injury. Do...

Re: Leinster v Leicester - Sat 6 April, 20.00 RTE2

Ross is probably a better bet for managing the expected conditions but Harry must be disappointed given how well he's played recently

Re: The quickening 2024

Bulls last 5 URC games are all SA, including 4 in a row at home which emphasises the importance of tonight's win.
Finish in first place and we potentially have a final in Dublin, finish second and we potentially have a final in Pretoria.

Re: Leinster vs Bulls, March 29th, 7.35pm

Every time I see Russell play, I come away thinking that this guy will play for Ireland.
No different tonight.
Impact of the bench was brilliant, the number of significant plays by Sheehan in just 35 minutes on the pitch was incredible.

Re: Leinster vs Bulls, March 29th, 7.35pm

 Anyone who thinks Ross is ahead of Harry right now, hasn't been paying attention IMO The pecking order could flip again, but people need to look back on Harry outplaying Pollard in Leinster's last major game (and Ross's less than stellar form since his return from injury), to understand why ...

Re: Leinster vs Bulls, March 29th, 7.35pm

I'll be backing stormers to beat LaR frankly .... stormers are in better form and have turned their home stadium into a bit of a fortress this season LAR, despite a narrow loss at the weekend, are back in form recently. Bookies have LAR as very slight favourites at 13/15 and Stormers at 6/5. Tough ...

An incredible record. He never gets the recognition he deserves but as someone said on this forum before :- that's probably exactly as he'd want it.
