Re: Re: Ireland vs Scotland, Saturday, 4.45pm

Plus points from the 6N: Crowley has really grabbed the jersey. Not his best games this week or last but I have no worries about him and if anyone does take the jersey off him they’ll be some player. Nash makes me relaxed seeing his name on the team sheet. He’s a Denis Irwin type. Not as great obvi...

Re: Irish U20s 2024

A lot of injuries been picked up tonight.
Is that because of the surface.
Anyone know what kind of money do the winners of the tournament get?

Re: Ireland vs Scotland, Saturday, 4.45pm

Be interesting to see what happens when Ross Byrne and Craig Casey go back to the provinces given that the national coach has picked their reserves for the national team in pretty much the same way he did with JGP. Ross, just back from injury, needs minutes. Craig Casey much less so. Craig Casey is...

Re: Re: Ireland vs Scotland, Saturday, 4.45pm

I hope that Porter is still close to his best when Millar-Mills makes an appearance off the bench at No 18. This guy looks like an imposter at this level. Glad to see Scotland have altered their mid-field to a more defensive pairing and would love to see Ringrose against that pair. Beware the Scott...

What about Sinnots? They will be showing the game, it will probably be very busy but about as close to St Stephen's Green as you can get. https://www.sinnotts.ie/ Yeah Sinnotts always a handy spot. Sinnotts is very good but gets rammed, lots of screens though. The Camben is excellent, a great sport...

I nearly always watch at home.
Slattery's on Capel Street used to be.

Re: Cardiff Away, March 2nd

We've got a big decision to make around who starts at 10 against Bulls & Leicester. Frawley could be back for the former and we'll potentially have all four 10s available for Leicester. Ross hasn't impressed since he has returned at all, Harry is probably in pole position and has beaten Tigers ...

Re: Leinster Squad 23-24

Back to the Ross story/rumour, my reason for posting last week was he out of contract at the end of the season, was that the rumour of his leaving was mentioned at an outing I was at, would be sad to see him go but wouldn’t begrudge him especially with the lack of games he’s getting this season and...

Re: Cardiff Away, March 2nd

Yay. This season I've started to accept that Frawley is really a utility outhalf. It's not that he can't play 10, it's not that 10 isn't his best position (I'm not sure), it's that he's so good as a 2nd outhalf playing from fullback or centre and we don't have any players who really rival his abili...

Re: A whiff of Cordite

It still is! It has about four superfluous letters. Phonetically spelling it would probably get me banned. If we are pulling posters up on misspelling names, it will be a long battle though. I'm often amazed by how posters on here misspell even simple names of regular Leinster players. Not limited ...

I guess we'll have to make do with just the four experienced top quality backrows to choose from then while our other four experienced top quality backrows stay with Ireland.

Such is life!

Re: 6N Ireland Wales - Dublin 2:15pm Sat 24 Feb

Our Lock options are truly in good health at the moment. 11 tackles from Ryan in the short time he was on the pitch is some return when you consider the highest was Doris with 19. Some of our provincial cousins are talking about JRs form dropping off a cliff. Shows what they know. There just lining...

Re: 6N Ireland Wales - Dublin 2:15pm Sat 24 Feb

Nah it's really not. Lowe isn't even at 3/4 pace in that clip and Dyer is going full tilt. It's also far easier for the guy going forward to go full tilt, Lowe has to focus on gathering the ball, Dyer doesn't. That's the whole point of why a kick in behind is dangerous. When you say he 'gets caught...
