Re: Toulon Tickets

Hi all, how are people sourcing tickets? Mailed leinster rugby who were pretty uuseless and said contact toulon. Still plenty of tickets left on the STH account. Just none in the Finale stand. Surely they will put them on general sale before returning them? Not a STH anymore sadly. Yeah have pm'd s...

Re: Ireland v Samoa

Ah good aul Wardy....listening to him, Ryle & George I got the sense that they're still bitter about Deccie going and Joe coming in. Switched over to BBC at half-time to listen to Eddie Oh...much better even allowing for BBC NI commentating on "Paddy Jackson of Ulster, with a good dummy lin...

Re: Leinster @ Dragons, 1st November 2013

We went away to Rodney Parade. I've seen Leinster 2nds go there over the years and get beaten in matches like last night or worse. Thats twice this season we've gone away to Wales (where we haven't had an amazing record) and come back with 8 more points than we would have in previous seasons. People...

Re: Leinster v. Castres

The thing I like about Madigan is that he has been systematically addressing the elements that people have been critical of . Over the last 18 months his place kicking, line kicking & defense have come on leaps and bounds. Towards the end of last year his Game Mgt was improving and I'd expect i...

Re: Leinster v. Castres

Its good news for Leinster that we have strong competition for the 10 slot. Just like we have competition for the 9 slot. In both cases the competing parties bring something different to the field. Madigans development is important to Leinster , but not as important as beating Castres(The champions...

I'm not stating that Junior blacks caps are more prominent than full Irish caps....just that they are a decent standard (above journeyman level).

Think we learned from Shaun Berne. You need a very good back-up. Circumstances have intervened with Madigan getting time at 10.

Re: Leinster v Cardiff

Jimmy is a journey man who has been lionised out of all proportion based on a good game against a cr@p Scarlet’s team and a good first half against the Ospreys. His second half against Ospreys was not good when the pressure was on. Again against Glasgow in a pressure game he was largely anonymous. ...

Re: Sabre-rattling from Premiership Rugby again ...

Re: Active Sportswear gone from Donnybrook & RDS?

Sorry are you saying the Leinster Rugby Store is no more? No that is a huge loss. The shop in donnybrook was one of the best stocked rugby stores I've ever been in. It was an aladin's cave of bargains and hard to get kit. Also it was super handy and the guys knew their stuff. Lifestyle are fairly p...

No loss IMO. A big mouth, full of opinion before he knew the place, and generally playing the colonial hard-man. Connacht have many from local background who can fill that slot better and have real passion for the game and their Province, not just fast-track career ambitions There are a couple of l...
