The one by Kyle Rowe on 79 minutes?
That sounds about right, ta.

Re: 6 Nations 2024

Watching the rugby this weekend I really do wonder why the TMO doesn't get involved in Jackal calls with hands on the floor. Makes no sense to me why the Referee can't just say that's a penalty, the TMO will quickly check if there was hands on the floor or not. I understand that we don't want the T...

Yeah and the money is useful because I think I'm right in saying that the RWCcost us money

Re: 6N: France Ireland - Marseille Fri 8pm 2 Feb 2024

I’d go full switch. Belham, Kelleher and Healy in the front row. Henderson and Ryan in the second row. Conan to 8, Baird to 6, moving POM to 7. Rest Beirne for the week- but bench JVF and Doris. Maybe bring Will Connors into the squad. Play Casey with his Munster buddy at 9. Stick with Aki and Hens...

Re: Irish U20s 2024

How did Spicer play? No one seems to be mentioning him. He didn't play badly, but just doesn't utilise his size like you'd want him to. He tends to slowly jog about rather than smashing into people IMO. If he got up to a sprint he'd take some stopping. He had a ten minute purple patch in the second...

Re: 6N: France Ireland - Marseille Fri 8pm 2 Feb 2024

Galthie getting a lot of criticism in the French press, it would appear. One highlight for me was post match interview of baby face Big Joe, couldn't even grow a decent bit of stubble. After 65 minutes he literally bounced off the pitch. Has anyone seen a lock forward influence a game the way he did...

Re: 6 Nations 2024

Don’t get the general optimism. Ireland without Sexton are considerably less potent. Add in no Ringrose and Hansen and suddenly the back line has lost 90% of its creativity and becomes much easier to defend against. We can go toe to toe with the French up front but the French will be looking at our...

Given how thin we are at OH for Ireland I wonder will Prendergast be staying with the 6N squad for the duration.

Re: 6 Nations 2024

How do you get Joe McCarthy into the team? His most probable number is 19, but even at that it means dropping either Beirne, Ryan, Henderson or POM from the match day squad, all seem to be fully fit going into the championship. I've major doubts about Henderson at the moment. Maybe it's just me but...

Re: Rumour Mill

Leinster probably need a good young centre more than any of the other provinces, ironically (especially if Ngatai leaves). If Kelly can't make it with England in the next 1-2 years, could see him moving. His only England cap was in 2021, if I understand it correctly, it means he could switch to Ire...

Re: Connacht 2023/24

For him, and possibly Connacht, maybe his best option now on the back of that game, is to put his hand up for the Olympic 7's. Regardless of how well he's playing, he's hardly likely to take a spot from Hansen, when he's back. On the basis of his 7's experience, allied to his physical development a...

I read some complaints about officiating. I thought the boy - although young - was pretty good. As they say in bullfights: the bull had its chances. Here, a side note: A Frenchman once visited South Africa and happened to pass by a graveyard. He wandered about the graves and saw this engravement on...

Opine away. Opinions are like arseholes as the saying goes. The facts don’t back you up though. And you are welcome to yours! Ok, so two simple questions OS. If Ross Molony 'isn't big enough to play at this level', then... 1: How is it that La Rochelle played a lock that was the same height and lig...
