Bloodgate: The Movie
I've just been trying to explain to a colleague in work about the Ins and Outs of what went on that day at the Stoop when he interrupted me to say: "Sorry what movie is this?" Anybody else think this has the makings of a Hollywood epic? The game alone was about as heart stopping as any fil...

Re: Sir Bobby Robson RIP
Heard the news in work and was very genuinely sad by it. Never met him or followed any of the teams he managed but his enthusiasm for soccer was infectious, it was impossible not to have a soft spot for him. RIP.

The sheer look of terror in the oppositions eyes when they realised they had to try and tackle him, that'll be my abiding memory. Please God, he'll be back but not November hopefully

They were the best team in the Magners League this year. Fact.

Re: songs for the final (not the fields)
I am loving the Stan Wright and Nacewa chants. What about Leinsters' Call? Simply substitute Leinster for Ireland, province for country and 12 counties for 4 provinces and hey presto, instant song! Thoughts?

Re: Pool 2 - the lowdown.
I think at this stage, It's reasonable to assume we'll be on the road. I think we'll be going to London or Limerick. I had it worked out in my head but at this stage a pen, a paper, a calculator and somone who got an A in honours maths in the Leaving would be needed to work this lot out fully!

Re: Who'd you play at OH?
For me, it's Contepomi. I'd have Nacewa and Sexton on the bench as cover. Somone brought it up earlier that having these two in a matchday squad gives you two different styles of 10. More options.

Re: Anti-Leinster bias in the media
Should we than be looking at Keogh or Keane at scrum half for Saturday or at this stage, have we got to stick with Whittaker for Wasps? BTW we won't get any reasonable (by this I mean fair) press coverage until we win the Heineken Cup.

Don't think the new stadium is a valid argument really. It's still the same ground, same pitch, same geographical location as it was before they re-built it.

My team: Healy Fogerty CJ Mal Dev Jennings O'Brien Heaslip Keane Dr Phil Keogh Nacewa BOD D'Arcy Kearney IMO if Chris Keane is Cheika's back up to Whittaker than he's go to get some significant game time. I think that Rocky could do with a little rest (spring him from the bench if needs be). Also Ke...

Re: The coaching ticket....
Why would anybody want to change the coaching staff when we are still in contention for 2 trophies. In the past, Leinster have been electrifying in the first half of the season and bottled it in the second half. Last time I checked, not firing on all cylinders and winning games was to be viewed as a...

Re: Denis Leamy
Jesus, the sheer stupidity of the stamp at the end. He's killing the ball in his own 22 and they are 2 points down with less than a minute left. WHY WOULD YOU WANT TO STAMP HIM? KILLING THE BALL IS WINDING DOWN THE CLOCK EVEN IF THE REF DOESN'T SPOT IT! He's a very lucky boy that Saracens lost the h...

Re: Nacewa set to join Leinster - Confirmed
I think it could be a good signing in the long run. The younger players, the likes of Carr and Jones etc, should be loaned to Connacht to be given game time. Could come back to Leinster as better players for it. Thoughts?
