Re: Quarter Final vs Sharks, Sat 6th May 17:00 (RTE 2)
Aside from that great game, it seems to me that some are forgetting that Sharks have an all-Springbok front-row of props Nche & Du Toit with hooker Mbonami for good measure with Grobelar & Andrews in the row and, even without Kolisi, they always produce a decent back-row. Bosch & Willia...

Re: Heineken Champions Cup Final 2023
Yeah, he got 21 minutes off the bench against Gloucester at the RDS. Harry Byrne has seen far more action in this season's competition than Sexton. Thanks, I think thats a sign of how much he has improved but also how the team has evolved and how well it's coached. Ugo Monye and the rest of the BBC...

Re: Heineken Champions Cup Final 2023
When we walk out onto the pitch for the Final we will be doing so for the 196th time. And that will be more than any team has ever played in this competition.

Re: Heineken Champions Cup Final 2023
We've got to fly to South Africa, Italy, Scotland, Wales, England and France throughout the season. Radge plays two games outside of France all season and whinges about how hard it is. La Rochelle play against teams from pretty little towns in the South of France. We have to play against monster un...

Re: Heineken Champions Cup Final 2023
Martin Bayfield on BT after thebgame today saying that La Rochelle had two hard games before the final and that Leinster "dont have that" La Rochelle have games that they can afford to lose, we dont, we lose next week our URC season is over, we win and lose the following week, our URC seas...

And it begins...Ronan O’Gara: “The month Leinster have this month, we have it every month. You need to think about that for a little bit. We have ten months of a slog.”

Re: Heineken Champions Cup Final 2023
probably a good thing that Exeter V La Rochelle game was behind paywall TV. Dreadful stuff. It was like a game of skittles, FFS. Not a great advert for the game and I'm sure the English will be pointing to budgets as they reflect on yet another year with no english team looking remotely possible of...

Re: Leinster V Toulouse Semi Final
Mike Ross@MikeRoss03 Leinster scrum has been excellent. Looks like they've changed the second rows from a split stance to both knees on the floor Haven't a rashers what he means tbh. Bundee Aki was at the game yesterday, saw him posing for snaps with Will Connors, and a few others after the game. B...

Re: Leinster V Toulouse Semi Final
We were more comfortable than I thought we'd be in winning it. My only worry going into the final would be our scrum which took a hammering. Furlong looked absolutely wrecked out there after 30 mins. I'd be seriously concerned if we got into another arm-wrestling match in the finals against LR. Eh?...

Well said young Man.you can’t talk about the referee or talk about tactics when you concede 40 points. It’s hard to argue with [the result]."

Re: Leinster V Toulouse Semi Final
There is a lot of people dismissing last years hammering based on the fact the Toulouse were "tired" after there epic extratime battle against a ragamuffin Munster. Y'know we played a game that day too? 2 and 1/2 hours later, also away from home and against a better team than they played....

Re: Leinster V Toulouse Semi Final
Very nervous. They have been targeting this game, a chance for revenge after last year. Added spice given we beat France in February. I’ve resigned myself to JS being gone but Lowe’s big left boot and physicality will be missed. I expect VdF will start but Baird won’t. Possibility Kelleher will mak...

Re: Neutral Stadium
Not sure I agree with that. Can't really understand how a team who has earned the right to have a home draw playing a semi in their (actual or alternate) home threatens the integrity of the tournament. The whole 'home country, not home stadium' jazz has always struck me as a bit of a nonsense. How ...

Re: Leinster V Toulouse Semi Final
Speculation on our team for Saturday seems very limited. Is this because there is an automatic assumption that there are no changes anticipated from the team against Leicester, other than Jimmy O'Brien for injured James Lowe. Personally I wonder whether now is the time that Leocaster will unveil Ja...

These feckin Micks shouldn't be this good. They could win a fifth star FFS. It wasn't supposed to be this way. They should go out as a plucky loser in the QFs at best and then we beat the frogs in an armwrestle, Agincourt style.
