Re: Grahamunster - Graham Rowntree's Munster 2022/2023
Maybe it was just the fans from Cork? Surprised you haven’t spoken to all of them at this stage too!

Re: Ireland Autumn Internationals 2022
Baloucoune does get involved off his wing for Ulster though so I find it strange that he hasn’t done it more for Ireland when it seems very natural to him. I’ve no doubt Farrell has been underwhelmed with him btw. My post was more wondering if he’s just not overly impressed and decided to reward JOB...

Re: Ireland Autumn Internationals 2022
I also think that Treadwell's early substitution last weekend was an indication of Farrell's displeasure. Did you...think that when you responded to me saying it a few pages back? I'm guessing we're not too worried about Johnny if we haven't called up another ten. Big Joe might have a chance ...

Re: Ireland Autumn Internationals 2022
I wonder how much the Baloucoune non selection is a reflection on his performances or just a nod to JOB putting his hand up and also offering that left foot option? I suspect Farrell was disappointed with Baloucoune but it's hard to know. I feel for him, think he'd have gone better at other times wh...

Re: Ireland Autumn Internationals 2022
Hard to know for sure but it looked very much like Ryan made Johnny go to the corner instead of taking the points for the maul try as well. Some quotes from Johnny on this. “I said, ‘We’ll take three?’ And he said, ‘No, we’ll go the corner.’ And I said, ‘OK,’” explained Sexton. “I disagreed with hi...

Re: Leinster v Chile
I’d imagine there’s an element of respect for Chile. They’re an international side, we can’t take the piss. No point organising the game if we’re not going to take it somewhat seriously. I’m talking in terms of actual respect here, not as in being concerned about how good they might be. Nice selecti...

Re: Autumn Internationals 2022 Not Ireland
Dupont getting a longer ban that PSDT is ridiculous IMO. One was a genuine attempt to get the ball and the other was deliberate foul play. No issue with Dupont getting a ban but the whole system is a joke IMO.

Re: Ireland Autumn Internationals 2022
I'm not suggesting he should be called up but given that Farrell passed on Carty and Burns who have both been involved in the last couple of years, I wonder if Healy would actually accept a call up if he was asked? Out of contract in the summer, had a ropey last 6 months where he didn't go to NZ, di...

Re: Ireland Autumn Internationals 2022
Haven’t heard of any injury to Carty, surprised Ross gets picked ahead of him but I’m delighted for him and hope he gets a shot. Funnily enough his form has been much better at other times over the last few years and I don’t think many of us on here would have been pushing for him to be involved aga...

Re: Leinster Squad 22-23
Sexton and Josh up against Am and Dupont for WPOTY. It's not just bias to say that I think the Irish lads have been way ahead of the other two this year. Personally I'd go for Josh but hard to argue with either, some achievement to even be nominated. I'm reminded again of how lucky we are to have th...

Re: Hooker options going forward
Yeah agreed, and I'm obviously not playing down Sheehan's year, he's been outstanding as well. Just on the award itself, I don't think Arundell has played in the 6N, Champions Cup, or in the November series. He's probably the most talented of the group and could easily win try of the year but it jus...

Re: Ireland Autumn Internationals 2022
Thought Casey had at least two really good moments on Saturday. His long flat pass off the back of a lineout near halfway was a thing of beauty and his try scoring pass to Hansen was quality. The forwards definitely had a few good rumbles with him dictating play.

Re: Hooker options going forward
I'm going to predict that Kelleher will have some very big performances upon his return on the back of this news and the year that Dan has had in general. I'd go for Capuozzo for this one though. His impact reminds me a bit of when BOD appeared on the scene, he gives you a chance in games you shoul...

Re: Ireland Autumn Internationals 2022
I'm guessing we're not too worried about Johnny if we haven't called up another ten. Big Joe might have a chance of benching, Treadwell going off early in a game where we didn't have second row cover and in a performance that the head coach thought was awful doesn't bode well for him. It was just b...

Re: Leinster Squad 22-23
FFS! Every time Frawley starts to get going he gets scuppered by injury. Fingers crossed he can still get a good run at the end of the season and have a shot at the World Cup as well. We could really do with Harry being back in early December and it sounds like he's nearly ready but obviously won't ...
