Re: Mariano Galarza signs
You missed my point i don't doubt we need cover this season in the second row to cover for injuries my argument is why are we bringing in an Argentine who is unproven at magners league level that has only played rugby in Argentina which I'd imagine is on a par with the AIL I suppose I would reckon ...

He did seem like the most likely candidate ok.
Didn't he have to step in there in a game last year. He did well I seem to remember. (My memory is muck though)

Re: Munster Thread 2010/2011
Eleven (11) of the team that were in 22 for the 2008 HCup win will be around for another 4 years at least and some even longer so there is plenty of time to integrate new members. Are you sure that a lot of those mentioned would hang around now in Munster and not prefer to have a few new challenges...

Munster Game Moved to Lansdowne
Dear totalrandomer Leinster Rugby is delighted to confirm that our October 2nd fixture against Munster in the Magners League will be played in the Aviva Stadium. This will be the first competitive rugby match to be played in the new state of the art arena and we expect a sell-out crowd on the day...

Re: Munster Thread 2010/2011
Which would you have preferred last year - the win over Munster (at home) or the win over London Irish in the RDS in the HCup the following week? With the benefit of hindsight, it worked out fine thanks. Perhaps if we had won it we would have got Biarritz instead of Toulouse. Then we could have los...

Re: Munster Thread 2010/2011
btw, how did the Leinster All-Star, world class 'A' team lose out to that Munster rabble last season? Well let's see.... I know  We didn't! In fact eeeeh, We have a date for a possible 5 in a row in about 6 weeks. Hope it is not in the RDS as you are all a bit scared of coming to support your...

Re: Saracens V Leinster
Yaaaay! Now, if Leinster just confirm if we are playing Munster and Clermont in Lansdowne or not. I reckon the Sarries return leg venue will be finalised after the 2 x Clermont games in Dec. If it was the last round I reckon it would stand a better chance of going to LR. As it is the 2nd last it mi...

At least this time, I know who the top and bottom ones are! Last few I knew none of. (OK apart from Naomi Campbell)
May be I should not be reading this thread? Yeah, that's it.

Re: Friday's rant
I come from a technical background so I would rank the splitting of the atom as a greater achievement than writing a few rhymes. Others would disagee. As you said, it depends on what one defines as "greatness" As someone who has a foot in both camps, I would say that one persons words (Mu...

Not sure of the 3 guys in the field either.
Perhaps captions? At least then people can google them if they have any interest.

I suppose we should be grateful that Stephen Gately isn't on the list.
To quote one of your heroes. "Just because one is born in a stable does not make one a horse"
Give me Mary Robinson any day.
I suppose all Poetry is "A loada me bollix" if you look at it that way.
I probably would not choose her over most of Leinsterman's list.
Lists in general are a bit dodgey, as we will all disagree on what constitutes greatness.
How do you compare a physicist with a politician? etc.
Wolf Tone
Charles J Kickham
Thomas Clarke
Pearce
Connolly.
Is that a bit one sided?
Edit. How embarrassing! I spelled Pearse wrong
