Re: Hooker options going forward
I'm going to predict that Kelleher will have some very big performances upon his return on the back of this news and the year that Dan has had in general. I'd go for Capuozzo for this one though. His impact reminds me a bit of when BOD appeared on the scene, he gives you a chance in games you should...

Re: Ireland Autumn Internationals 2022
It always stands out to me that Crowley is so vocal. He was immediately leading in a huddle on Saturday but even when he was water boy last week he seemed to be giving Johnny loads of chat. He’s still very raw but has all the tools to be a top player and I get the impression he has the attitude that...

Re: Autumn Internationals 2022 Not Ireland
Having said that, on Amazon prime where I watched it, the TMO feed was still on so the viewers could hear the TMO while Barnes couldn't and the TMO said clearly that there were no issues with the try. I couldn't believe there was controversy about it the next day. Confused me as it was straightforw...

Re: Ireland Autumn Internationals 2022
I don’t think Ahern did ride the pine too often. My memory is that he was someone who JVG seemed to be quite eager to play but he’s only 22 and has had a fair few injuries.

Re: Autumn Internationals 2022 Not Ireland
TJP has been incredible in the last few minutes. Passing, kicking, securing rucks, and even stealing a ball. He’s won this for them IMO.

Re: Autumn Internationals 2022 Not Ireland
Savea is one man pack out there at times. Papili’i is a fine player and has been improving at this level but he still drifts in and out of games. The last minute or so really illustrates this. Talea was done badly and then De Groot missed a tackle but Savea saved them. He had another couple of big ...

Re: Autumn Internationals 2022 Not Ireland
NZ’s backs are all defending terribly. ALB looked to cynically lie on the ball when Scotland nearly got in in the corner just before half time, would have been interesting to see if Frank sent him off had he noticed.Dave Cahill wrote: ↑November 13th, 2022, 3:15 pm Ciaran Clark is a better defender than Caleb Clarke.

Maybe there’s a slight time delay but as I write this the time is 14:48 and 23:40 minutes have elapsed. What the f%~k is happening these days?

Re: Ireland Autumn Internationals 2022
Overall I think our backups have been poor this year. The first Maori game was a bad performance, the EI tour to SA was very mixed, the performance at the RDS last week was dreadful, and then they didn’t step up yesterday either. There have been some good parts too and for games like that it’s prob...

Re: Autumn Internationals 2022 Not Ireland
French cut the comms to the TMO after the potential double movement. It returns just as the conversion is kicked.. hmmmm Put nothing past the French. They're going to get every rub of the green at the RWC and they're gonna manipulate the TMO feeds to the hilt. Rassie is a dïck. But to be fair, in t...

Re: Autumn Internationals 2022 Not Ireland
Blaming the refs is doing nothing good for South Africa. He did the same kind of shitty video after our game, a game where Kolbe should have been sent off, and lo and behold within 12 minutes of their next game they have a guy sent off for some stupid foul play. When you’re putting out these videos ...

Re: Ireland Autumn Internationals 2022
I don’t think the ref ruined that, the players ruined it with sloppy play and poor discipline on both sides. Opening try was poor to concede but I’m not sure if it had anything to do with Henshaw pulling up or not. JGP certainly bit when he didn’t need to though, Baloucoune had got across to the sec...

Re: Grahamunster - Graham Rowntree's Munster 2022/2023
The more I see from last night the more I can’t get over the reaction. Totally understand that it was a big occasion in many ways and I don’t want to begrudge people enjoying themselves but it should be mostly for the event and very little about the match itself. It’s as if Munster think they just w...

Re: Grahamunster - Graham Rowntree's Munster 2022/2023
Very good performance from Munster, they’re improving an awful lot and I get that it was a special occasion in many ways, but the reaction online and at full time is mad. As a neutral I thought South Africa were so sh!t that it wasn’t enough of a contest to get excited about but maybe that’s just me.

Re: Grahamunster - Graham Rowntree's Munster 2022/2023
I think that’s a harsh penalty to give. He was fine initially and then let go quite quickly when he went off his feet, whereas Dickson let Edogbo get away with having a second go at the ball a few minutes ago in front of the posts. Munster were on a warning then too. Ref said he was fine, it was th...
