Re: AIL 23/24
I'd say the Leinster club that is most interested in the Ballyclare/Monkstown game is DLSP. All the way down from AIL to LL2A. A win for Monkstown keeps them in LL1B. Interesting - I hadn't realised that. I take it that it would mean that there is one more place in LL1B, so the promotoion/relegatio...

Re: A whiff of Cordite
I watched the game with my wife and she was wondering why the commentators seemed to be supporting Leicester. Step forward Hugh and Tremenjus
Also, why isn’t ROC transferred to the soccer desk. It would make both of us so much happier.

The issue I had was that when he did that the rest of the LR backline were only about 2m backDave Cahill wrote: ↑April 6th, 2024, 5:55 pm It's Mr Tickle actually.

Its not just them And I don't think Dexter is a weegie! Ha no I'm not. Ref didn't do them any favours but IMO Glasgow blew it. +1 Just watching the Weegies game now and up to half time. If that was us playing the cheats I’d be fuming with the ref. They came out the wrong side of some awful decision...

Re: Leinster v Leicester - Sat 6 April, 20.00 RTE2
Match Preview Well, we said the season was starting to ramp up last week and Leinster responded with their best performance of the season! The win away to La Rochelle was undoubtedly the best result of the season, but last week was Leinster's best performance on both sides of the ball. It wasn't li...

I think both Harry and Ross are fine players and I don't really have a preference for one over the other. But, and lets be honest here, are we not arguing over what our favourite shade of magnolia is? It's not as if we're arguing the difference between two entirely different but equally brilliant p...

Re: Munster 2023/2024 - Return of the Jedi????
Factoid - Robbie Keane only used the 'boy/childhood dream' line twice, once when he signed for Liverpool, then when he signed for Celtic - which wouldn't be that unusual for an Irish player, most Irish football supporters would support Celtic as, at least, a second team as well as their first choic...

Re: Leinster vs Bulls, March 29th, 7.35pm
I know Luke got a lot of criticism here for his tackle but doubt he got much from the coaches. His desire and intent were top class. He might have got timing a little wrong (might have been a bit surprised that Bulls player stepped in) but I'd hope the coaching ticket picked this clip out as a posit...

Do you really believe that rubbish. There are a few posters here with ‘anti-Luke’ agendas, that don’t merit engagement’s. He has more heart and balls than all of them combined. Tackle was high and a clear yellow but from a Leinster perspective, his fight and work-rate are inspiring and set the stan...

Re: Leinster's Communications Problem
I listened to the sports news on RTE1 and Newstalk this morning. Newstalk led with LOI games and then in to a premiership game thats on Sunday. Then on to the NFL finals and then a brief mention of the Womens 6N and golf. RTE1 started with a good preview of the NFL games on Saturday and then on to s...

We had a string of catastrophic hammer injuries a few years ago and that seems to have lessened but now we have had three really bad bicep rips. It seems unusual but it's probably a coincidence. I'm no expert but I've heard a sports scientist claim that Hamstrings they blame on themselves not manag...

Absolutely. The list is long. Deegan really should be pushing for a Europe spot, based on his performances this season, of which this was again good. You would think we would go 6:2 this week and again against Leicester. Particularly if Frawley is fit. Only two concerns for me: - The lineout. - Ros...
