Re: Irish U20s 2024
I accept you point but 10 is still healthy representation for one province in a squad of 23 with an IQ player involved. 12 players between the 3 other provinces if I've read that right. by leinsters recent standards its poor. Jackman is still banging on about this being the best team in years. The ...

Was just going to say that’s incredible he’s playing Ireland u20s and did not know that ruleObservingprop123 wrote: ↑March 8th, 2024, 7:42 pm Has O'Connor ever played a game of rugby before? That penalty was something an u10 wouldn't give away.

Re: Schools Rugby 23/24
Was looking at the JCT campaign from 2021 to see how Michael’s and Rock fared. It was delayed due to Covid with the final played in October 2021. Newbridge beat rock in the final. Angulo and OShaughensy played that also. So this Sct final will actually be 4 major finals in 3 school years for both o...

Re: Schools Rugby 23/24
Gonzaga parent tells me if they get to the final it will be the third final in a row for McLaughlin who came off the bench in the 2022 final. That’s some achievement. Similar for blackrock where both Angelo and Shaugnessy came off the bench in 2022 final and started in 2023 final. Was looking at th...

I was just about to say that. Even last year when he came on as a sub he looked the better player. Don’t know how Sherwin starts ahead of him.Bigdickenergy wrote: ↑March 5th, 2024, 12:59 pm The sub 9 for Michaels has been very impressive in every game so far. Dunno how he doesn’t start. Suppose ye can’t drop the captain.

Re: Schools Rugby 23/24
He’s Jack Boyles younger brother. He’s had the physicality to be a Senior Cup player since he was in 4th class (10 years old). When he was younger training with his team mates he wasn’t allowed to go full force otherwise he’d be running the pitch every time. I also remember Bernard Jackman giving hi...

Re: Schools Rugby 23/24
Great to see two minnows of Leinster Schools SCT wins battling it out in the first SCT semi-final today. Between them they have won the same amount (4 cup wins (Michaels 3 and Gonzaga 1)) of SCT cups as St Andrews College and St Andrews haven't won a cup in 102 years! Next up the mighty Rock (70 cu...

Found it strange the way a few people here backed Zaga to win when every time they played Michael’s in cup they got beaten comfortably.Bigdickenergy wrote: ↑March 1st, 2024, 10:44 am I’d back Mary’s to beat Rock before I’d back Michaels to beat Zaga

Re: Leinster Academy 23-24
Wouldn’t be surprised seeing him move to Ulster considering his Dad will be the coach. He’ll also get more game time at Ulster.
