Re: European Champions Cup 23/24

It is entirely impossible to predict a Manie Libbok kick, any part of the pitch, any distance, any conditions, any time of the match, he is equally likely to pop it over or push it a mile wide.

Re: A whiff of Cordite

I see Glasgow’s online fans are whinging about the referee again. Is it may imagination or is this the default reaction for Scottish teams now? Including the national team, I mean They’re approaching Saffer levels of paranoia and bad sportsmanship Its not just them Glasgow getting whistled off the ...

I think both Harry and Ross are fine players and I don't really have a preference for one over the other. But, and lets be honest here, are we not arguing over what our favourite shade of magnolia is? It's not as if we're arguing the difference between two entirely different but equally brilliant pl...

Factoid - Robbie Keane only used the 'boy/childhood dream' line twice, once when he signed for Liverpool, then when he signed for Celtic - which wouldn't be that unusual for an Irish player, most Irish football supporters would support Celtic as, at least, a second team as well as their first choice...

Man City currently have 9 senior players out on loan

Howd that be allowed? I can understand the last one as there could have been an injury and you have to bring back a prop. But the two at 74' seems odd unless there are rolling subs I haven't seen the game, but perhaps there were HIA/Blood injuries - replaced players can only return for players unde...

. Would like to see some more of Henry McErlean, some nice moments ... I reckon he will get a run in South Africa next month. I like McErlean a lot, but does he take the tackle a little upright, making it more difficult for him to get to ground and easier for the defense to hold him up? I noticed i...

Re: Croke Park to host major Leinster rugby games

It should also be remembered that SPUC isn't available to Leinster, they didn't request it (because they never would). This isn't a comeallye, the GAA narrowly voted to make certain grounds available for certain fixtures to certain teams based on requests they made (Leinster for Croker and Nowlan Pa...

Re: Croke Park to host major Leinster rugby games

Possibly, but the question is why were those three grounds in particular approved? Presumably because someone (Leinster/Munster/IRFU?) already asked the question. Suggests to me that a plan is already in place. Leinster made a request for Croker and Nowlan Park to be made available for certain game...

Why in the name of baby jebus and all the suffering orphans would we take a home game against Munster to Cork? In the nigh on 20 years of this website's existence and nearly one million posts, that has to rank in the top 1% of crazy suggestions

Re: Croke Park to host major Leinster rugby games

I'd love a match in Kilkenny, make a bit of a weekend of it. Kilkenny is a great city, leaving aside all the stag party traps, there are brilliant pubs in Kilkenny, a great (and historic) local brewer with a fine taproom, lots for the family to do (the medieval mile museum is excellent), great antiq...
