Re: Irish U20s 2024

We won a game we could easily have lost. Plenty to learn from and still got the win.

Re: A whiff of Cordite

In fairness to Munster the first real introduction of Zombie was against Toulouse in their Champions Cup semi-final in 2022. That's a long time before the World Cup last year. They made it their own- and fair play to them. Zombie is brilliant. Really good for Munster and Ireland. Its not, nor shoul...

Why not spend a season moving around the province a little. Use smaller football grounds for the lesser matches?

Ahhh there are cringey bits, but its still decent TV.

You just tend to find those artificial bits a little distracting. My kids are binging it downstairs and are loving it.

Re: Netflix 6 Nations 2023 series

Well its out today. I assume I'm not the target audience so the first two episodes are okay. - They are trying to build the narrative around individual players, so those players become the best players on the pitch and everyone else is peripheral. Offers an interesting insights into the playuers the...

Dont agree at all Liebenberg went to smash McCarthy's attempted pick-and-jam with a shoulder .... anywhere else on the field and thats a penno (although all defending teams do it) Liebenberg's 'shoulder first' gambit to prevent Joe crossing the whitewash, resulted in him totally failing to make any...

Re: 6 Nations 2024

I wonder will the IRFU give into Andy Farrell and continue pom on a central contract? Farrell's decisions haven't helped Munster in regards Healy, snyman, kylen so probably feels like this will help relations The Irish captain should on on a central contract. Seems a bit of a no-brainer to me to ren...

He was an absolute mumbling incoherent trainwreck of an "analyst" ..... I genuinely felt like slapping the TV less than 10 seconds into hearing him for the first time ever in my life 😂
He was fine. Stop being so f%~king toxic.

Re: European Champions Cup 23/24

The consolidation of talent from the three lost teams has made a difference. I assume there has also been a decent influx of Welsh players given their financials. The premiership squads are stronger this year.

Blue Man wrote: December 29th, 2023, 8:10 pm If Milne can improve his scrummaging he’s a very decent player
Seem to be a really common theme for front row prospects coming through the academy. Would of course agree with you though. Milne looked more than capable of playing with the big boys. Its just the scrummaging that was an issue.

Re: Rumour Mill

Rumours online linking Leinster with Handre Pollard and Damian McKenzie. Neither seems plausible but then neither did RG Snyman! Snyman made immediate sense. Hes the exact player we've been looking for for years. Pollard would have to be nonsense, we have far too many talented 10's to spend money o...

He grabbed the arm of their player who then knocked it on. No idea why they didn’t even talk about a penalty try. They might have let it go, I’ve seen it not given, but once they do it surely should have been a PT. Covering player in the shot on screen. It wasnt a clear run through to score so they...
