Re: Dear Neil...I'll take you up on your bet.
Where did he make the original claim? Would it not be worth going after the people that allow Franno spout cr@p. ie: if it was in the tribune demand a reply and/or an apology from the paper. The 3 seems to have 3 jobs (Setanta, the Last Word and Tribune). In this recessionary time surly he can give...

Boks v Lions 2nd test predictions.
First a little theory of mine. I think the Boks were taken totally by surprise at their dominance in the scrum in the first test. (Just about everybody else was it would appear) As a result they went straight to plan B becasue they didn't need plan A. So question is what was their plan A and what is...

<bump> How did you get on with the extraction and conversion Oldschool? Extraction no problem and very quick. Conversion as you and others, suggested looks like a no go, unless I can figure a way of feeding the copied files back thru the decoder. (Would the RF input be enough or does it have to com...

Re: Schalk Burger back in Springboks team for 2nd Test
No replacement scrum half seems a bit of a gamble... Pienaar has played a lot of his career at scrum half so he could step in there if anything happened to Du Preez with Morne Steyn coming on at 10. Surprised they kept that centre combination together. It was the one area where the Lions dominated ...

Re: Lions Team v Emerging Springboks
earls had played a lot at full back so it is no surprise he is there now, it is not his best position at times he isn't the most confidant looking player at full back, he is great going forward but sometimes his ability under a high ball is questionable i'd prefere him in the center. i am hoping th...

Young Keith doesn't have what it takes to play centre (physicality, defense etc).gfo wrote:in the ireland squad, bods replacement is almost certain to be young keith
He's quick and elusive => Wing or FB maybe.

Re: Fergus McFadden to fill BOD's boots
He was very good in the CC Final and thoughout the tournament - very solid. He's been very solid for Leinster, whenever he has played. I'd say he has a very good temperament and doesn't get flustered, no matter what. He also has the added advantage of being a good place kicker. This will be vital in...

Re: Springboks to adopt new quota system
The Lions will really be in trouble if the Boks appoint a lippy black woman as captain - POC won't stand a chance. (We need to get a lippy Cork woman out there quick, just in case.) I usually rally against political correctness but that's a fairly stupid comment to make. Mods? The comments are reas...

I didn't say you mentioned those guys for the slaughter. But the whole point of this thread of this to recognise the guys who should be dropped. But ironically, as this site often does, Leinster, specifically, and Irish players are immune from such criticisms. Someone mentioned Heaslip, but that's ...

Re: lions team for second test?
i would drop jamie to the bench move wally to #8 and bring in williams at 7. Laughable. Why is is laughable? The point of BlueBlue's post is to recognise the players who didn't play well, and find an alternative. You're looking at this through the eyes of a Leinster/Ireland fan. If Stephen Jones, U...

Boks team and tactics for the 2nd Test
While happy will the result, we can't be happy will the performance and we let them back into the game. We won't get the same dominance in the scrum and our maul only really got going a couple of times. Their second half performance with a stable scrum was worrying. Our back row didn't boss the game...

BOD, roberts and kearney were all very good. croft did well to keep up with the game play. vickery was found out. POC and wyn jones were quite enough but not bad, worked well though. steven jones was poor, took the ball into contact to much even though he is not an attacking threat. monye- just now...

Re: First Test Post Mortem
You've been listening to too much Sky Sports dan - it was only Saffa arrogance that prevented a fairly significant hiding today, it was like men against boys at times in the first half. While the breakdown didn't materialise as a major weakness of the Lions (Jamie and Wallace did well on that front...
