Re: Norn Iron leaders debate on bbc 1 last night
sorry to interject guys, but, wow...you really are totally consumed with sectarian tendancies, combatlogo. You're completely obsessed with labelling people...or putting them in a box. I won't even begin to try and work out where that's coming from, but, there are two things I would like to say: (a)...

Re: Life Sentence
would you apply this to drunk drivers as well then ? Yes - if you get into a car boozed and drive, then kill someone its as good as murder. Try telling someone who has lost a loved one to a drunk driver that its any different. How about negligent doctors ? Where and how would you draw the line ? Or...

Do please illustrate where there are grounds for you accusing me (constantly) of being a provo supporter. Despite your continued false accusations, pernicious lies and falsehoods, you continue to spout nonsense. The grounds for you being a Provo are very simple - I've asked you several times whethe...

I disagree with the death penalty, but prison should be an actual deterrent. He should spend his days digging holes and nights filling them in, not sitting in front of a TV watching Jeremy Kyle or browsing the net. This scumbag will be out at the age of 26 and will think he's great for doing time. ...

Re: Life Sentence
When is the case not strong enough to bring in the death penalty? There are, of course, a lot of ordinary decent civilians at home, but large parts of Dublin are infested with the worst type of scum and savagry. A complete sh!t hole. Never, Suisse, never, it dos'nt solve anything. Have to disagree....

I'm uncomfortable with the judge's (mis)use of the word "sadistic". Very, very good point....... This drunk/drugged up piece of shite couldn't manufacture the most basic connivance to be deemed as somethin Sadistic........... it 's just base animalist neanderthal substance abuse induced t...

Mr Justice McKenshie's summing up in the Central Criminal Court really illustrated the barbarity that David Curran showed when he murdered Pawel Kalite and Mariusz Szwajkos. Where do you learn to inflict such unprokoked violence at 17 years of age ? What is a mandatory life sentence ? 10 years ? Has...

Lions factor innit! Correctomundo , and that said I agree it was a fantastic performance by our club sides this season , but you have to worry about the toll on such a small group of key players and more tours coming up, it is just non stop. What shape can they be in for next season. I dont buy the ...

Re: Match Programs
That's why I don't get league programmes. I still get the cup and international ones though as they are generally correct. The GAA can get championship programmes printed with the correct teams named just a day or so before kickoff. Leinster can do the same for the cup games so Why can't they manag...

Re: France 3 Ireland 0
Ok I'll indulge you. If we played the semi in a neutral ground we probably would have won. If it was played in Ireland we would win. And id say the same for Munster. So, do you still believe your hypothesis holds true? As for the 'lucky' nonsense....spare me. We lost a game we could have won. We pl...

I know every one is putting a brave face on it but I cant be the only one that thinks thinks france wiped the floor with us this week-end , No if ands or buts, The truth of the matter is that Toulouse never even needed to get out of second gear to win and Biarritz were the only team on the park for...

Re: France 3 Ireland 0
Just back from Toulouse - pretty fed up to be honest as I felt this was a game we could win, but got to fundamentally disagree with this post - you seem to be saying that this is the end of an era, and i;d say far from it. We've a great crop of players coming though, and I have no doubt that the ex...

Long (I mean long) time lurker here, but I can't let the "product" thing go by. I nearly ate my ticket when I heard it, then I thought I must have heard it wrong. Alas, seemingly not. "Brand" is godawful enough - it has incrementally crept in and is firmly established. Now this ...

I doubt if there is any decline , just watch, world cup coming up , wall to wall soccer and I will watch every minute of it :P . I would guess that outside the olympics the biggest sporting events would be 1- fifa world cup. 2 Uefa Euros .3 African Cup of nations. 4 Rugby world cup 5 Cricket world c...
