He'll need to work on the tan.
However, if he ever asks for a towel to sit on if he needs to re-tie his laces, we'll know there's a connection!

Sykes came on for the last 7 or 8 minutes and hit a good few rucks and carried the ball a couple of times.
Bloody unlucky to pick up another knock. He must feel he's cursed!

Two HSE ex staff on pensions of €160k pa. They would also have received a lump sum of €480k each. That makes me more sad than angry. The lump sum is equivalent to 9600 property tax amounts collected. The annual pension needs 3200 property taxes to be collected yearly at the current rate of €100 to ...

Have you been into Mulligans across the road? Not been myself yet but heard great things. They only do Irish craft beers (tap & bottle). Food supposed to be good also. Have been meaning to try it out for a while now Oh God yes, been there a couple of times! Go there and spend an evening eating ...

Drinkstore.ie in Stoneybatter are doing 4 bottles of Sierra Nevada for €10 at the moment. Great selection up there.

They must be phasing those out, are they?

Possibly because people have zero faith in the stewards' ability to actually do anything.

Re: Change to NIQs

This new rule will have a serious negative affect on the three provinces. When Leo retires what are we going to do? I know we have Toner who admittedly has improved a lot in the past year but who else do we have- Damien Browne or Steven Sykes? I would not be confident of a Toner, Browne/Sykes combo...

Very good!
Sounds like someone who can handle many situations.
Also, there's nothing more unnerving than having someone berate or argue with you with a smile on their face. It never seems to fail to instil some doubt in them, particularly if you talk quietly.

John - Exactly. That's what people need to do. Or just report people like him to the Branch. Then the Branch can take appropriate action. They now well what he has done but need more people to back previous reports up. They can't do anything otherwise. Spoofer - what should I have done? Hit him? Gre...

There's one notorious STH in the grandstand (not sure which section but towards the North Stand end). Spends the entire game shouting abuse at the opposition. Friend's FiL sits in the same section and always assumed his stories about this guy were exaggerated until I had the misfortune to sit in th...

Go into any Corpo building and count the number of people sitting around scratching their arse. That's what the tax is paying for.

Dave, the point is that I see this as a commencement towards a gradual winding down of financial support from the IRFU to the provinces. They've had to reduce their international ticket prices so if they want to continue giving top buck contracts to the international players, they'll have to cut som...

Chrome. Well I'm not sure if that's actually the problem but whatever it is is really frustrating.
